InMy Time At Sandrock, you’ll be spending much of your time befriending the people of Sandrock and working together with them to help improve Sandrock itself. Friends help friends, and you’ll be doing a lot of friendly helping through handling commissions for people.

Everyone in Sandrock can post commissions to be solved, such as asking for materials, food, and even machines, and it’s all done using the city’s Request Board. In this guide, we’ll cover where to find the Request Board, what sort of commissions you can take, and how you can even request your own to the Civil Corps.

What Is The Request Board?

Similar toMy Time at Portia, amajor source of Golscomes fromcompleting commissionsfor the city and townspeople of Sandrock.

Commissionsare special requestsfrom townspeopleseparate from side and story missions. Townspeople willrequest several of a specific item, such as Bronze Plates or Copper Bars, and you’ll need tofulfill their requestwithin a time limit.

TheRequest Boardis located on the left wallinside the Commerce Guild, andeach day, new commissions areposted on it.

Theamount of commissionsavailable alsochanges each day, along with the person posting them,their reward,their time limit, whatitem they’ll be requesting, and how many they ask for.

Initially, you may only acceptone commission a day, but as youincrease your Workshop Reputationlevel, you’ll unlock the ability to domore commissions a day.

There arefour types of commissionsyou’ll come across:BuildingCommissions,GeneralCommissions,Story MissionCommissions, andFree CityCommissions.

Building Commissions

Building Commissions are thefirst typeavailable to you, and are unlocked after youcomplete the tutorial missionsand move into your workshop.

These commissions will have youcrafting processed materialssuch as Bronze Bars, Copper Wire, or weaponry anddeliver them to the personrequesting the commission.

Sometimes,these commissions mayrequest machinessuch as the Tailoring Machine.

These commissionsreward you with Gols,Workshop Reputation,Relationship Pointswith theperson who requestedthe item, and Experience Points.

Machine-building commissionsalso reward you with a small amount ofCommerce Badges, which can bespent at the Commerce Guild Storeinside the Commerce Guild.

General Commissions

General Commissions becomeavailable after reaching Workshop Level Two, and these commissions will have you eithergrowing, processing, or acquiringvarious types offood and cooking ingredients.

Characters may request cooking ingredients such asTea Leavesor processed foods likeSalted Sandfish.

Some itemsrequested in General Commissions can bepurchased from By The Stairsor can be grownonce you’ve repaired the Moisture Farmand learned how to farm.

General Commissions alsoreward you with Gols,Relationship Pointswith the person who requested the commission,Workshop Reputation, and Experience Points.

Story Mission Commissions

Story Mission Commissionsare special commissions that becomeavailable during certain story missionssuch as In Trusses We Trust.

These commissionsdo not count towards your daily limitand will be requested bycharacters involved in the storymission,such as Heididuring In Trusses We Trust orZekeduring Moisture Farm Blues.

Like Regular Commissions, theserequest processed or crafted materialsspecifically relating to the story mission at hand andask for many of the same itemsas well, such asMarble Bricks.

Story Mission Commissionsreward you with Gols,Workshop Reputation, Relationship Points, and Experience Points butgenerally offer moreGols and Workshop Reputation than normal commissions.

Free City Commissions

Free City Commissions are another type of special commission and areonly requested by Yan.

These commissionsonly request machinesanditems built on an Assembly Tableand can ask forstory-related items,such as Suspended Tram Carts, if you’vefinished their related story mission.

Free City Commissions offer anincreased amount of Gols,Workshop Reputation, Experience Points, andCommerce Badges, but theyonly offer relationship points with Yan.

What Is The Civil Corps' Request Board?

After progressing through several story missions, you’ll unlock the ability topost your own commissions,and theCivil Corps will complete them.

The Civil Corps' Request Board islocated inside the Civil Corpsheadquarters on thewestern side of town, and you canpost two types of commissionswith them:Ruins Diving Commissions or Item Request Commissions.

Ruins Diving Commissionssend them to aspecific location or specific ruin, and they’ll bring back avariety of items depending on the locationchosen.

Item Request Commissions allow you tospecifically requestthat the Civil Corpsfind material for you, such as Raw Animal Skin,Coarse Leather, orFine Hair.

Each commission type can becustomized in two ways.

Increasing the amount of toursdone willincrease the amount of itemsthey find andincrease the cost in Golswhileincreasing the durationof the commission willlower the cost.

Finding new locations,exploring new ruins, anddefeating new monsterswillexpand the number of items and placesthe Civil Corps can go for a commission.
