Coral Islandis much more expansive than it seems at first glance. You may find yourself peeking at the map more often than you might with other farming simulator games. The lack of quest markers makes finding certain things even more challenging, so exploring is a crucial part of the game.
There’s usually at least one person who needs assistance finding lost things, and in this game, that person is the mayor. Given the large search area to cover, it’s understandable that they seek your help. With an entire island to search, you might want some help of your own.
Where Is The Mayor’s Hat?
If you’ve explored Coral Island, you know how many odd places there are. The hat could be anywhere, but luckilyit’s nearby on the beach. You’ll want tohead to the far end of the beach, near thecircular stairs and volleyball court.
There aretwo larger rock formationsright at the coastline, andthe hat is between them. It can be difficult to see the hat, especially depending on the time of day and season.
Themayor’s hat will have a barely noticeable intermittent sparkleeffect. The next step is to retrieve the hat.
Picking Up The Mayor’s Hat
Normally, retrieving an item is simple.This hat is a little tricky. You’ll have tostand in the perfect spotbefore it will allow you to pick it up.
Keep movinguntil you see the indicator to interact, and as long as theinteraction text is displayedyou should be able to pick up the mayor’s hat.
If you have other quests and events in the area,you may not be able to pick up the hatuntil they have been completed.
Return The Mayor’s Hat
The mayorlikes to spend time near his home. He can often be foundfishing just across from the blacksmithshop and playground. There’s a waypoint that can teleport you nearby if you have it unlocked.
Since the mayor wanders around town, you canuse the relationship menu to track his location. In the relationship menu,select the mayor’s profile. You’ll see an option in thebottom right corner of the screento track his whereabouts, so you may give him the hat back.
If you acquired the hat, you will be able toreturn it to him during a festival if you want, or you may return it any day.
