Housing is hard to come by inStarfieldif you don’t have enough credits or a way to obtain the necessary funds. Luckily, NPCs are willing to go above and beyond for low-income families to help them get a house of their very own.
Blast Zone is an optional side quest that has you partnering with a realtor in Akila City to assist in clearing hard rocks on The Stretch. Knowing you’ve helped further the process of helping a few families get a home is all the reward you’ll need, but a few extra credits help to sweeten the deal.

How To Start The Blast Zone Quest
As with many of Akila City’s side missions, this one usually starts with aguard telling you to go talk to Ngodup Tate, the city’s realtor.
You do not need to rely on the guards, however, to start the mission. You can just go talk to Mr. Tate directly.

Go up the stairs to the left of The Rock, and his office will be at the top towards the left.
Mr. Tate will offer to sell you some property in Akila City. You do not have to buy either of themto further the quest. Just choose the option “Nice to meet you, Goodbye.” He’ll stop you andask you for help.

He is working with the Low House toprovide affordable homes for familiesin The Stretch. However, he needshard rock removed from the landbefore they can start building.
If you don’t already have a cutter, Mr. Tate gives you one. So you won’t need to go buy one for this quest.

Where To Find The Hard Rock In The Stretch
Use the stairs behind Mr. Tateto descend into The Stretch, then turn right at the bottom of the stairs to get to Mr. Tate’s land. Once there, equip your cutter and start clearing the hard rock(which turns out to be iron).
While you’re down there clearing the rocks,a mom and daughter are sitting under an overhang, discussing how excited they are to finally have their own home.
Report Back To Mr. Tate
Once you’re finished clearing all the hard rock, report back to Mr. Tate for your reward of 50 XP, and a nice sum of credits based on your current level.
