As you start to explore tougher biomes in Lego Fortnite, you’ll run across Sapphire. Here’s what you need to know about both Rough and Cut Sapphire, plus what it’s used for.
How To Get Rough Sapphire
If you’re looking to getSapphire, you will need totravel over to the Frostlands. You will definitely need tostock up on cold resistanceitems. Without some form of cold resistance, you will find yourselfCold and Freezing, especially as you explore the Ice Caves.
As youventure into the Frostland caves, be on the lookout forblue-hued gem deposits. Mine these gem deposits to getRough Sapphire. Each deposit will usually give youtwo Rough Sapphires.
You will need to bring anEpic Pickaxewith you to break apart the Rough Sapphire deposits. After upgrading to the Epic Crafting Bench, you cancraft an Epic Pickaxe with the following recipe:

Dangerous enemies lurk inside the Frostland’s caves. verify togo with strong weapons, lots of healing items, and a plan to just book it out of a caveif things go south.
How To Make Cut Sapphire
Collect as muchRough Sapphireas you want, then bring it back to your village toturn it into Cut Sapphire.
verify to have theGem Cutter, which isa utility station you can build. If you haven’t built one yet, or need one for a new village, you canbuild a Gem Cutter with these materials:

Put your Rough Sapphire into the Gem Cutter, and wait while itprocesses it into Cut Sapphire. The exchange rate for this process isone to one.
What Is Sapphire Used For?
WithSapphirebeing available only in the later parts of the game, it mainly serves tobuff up your weapons and tools.
