Upgrading your gear is one of the main ways you can progress inLego Fortnite Odyssey. While you run around on your adventures, you’ll be collecting different types of materials with different kinds of uses. Many items you find are used to make better tools or buff the ones you have.
As you get to tougher areas in the game, you’ll eventually stumble across ore deposits for Malachite. Here’s what you’ll need to know about where to find Malachite, what you need to mine it, and what you can use it for.

Where To Get Malachite
You’ll findMalachiteas you adventure deeper into the Frostlands, asMalachite will be on the cliffs there. Be on the lookout forgreen stalagmite ore deposits.They can appear on the side of cliff walls or flat on the ground.
Stock up oncold resistance itemsas you explore the Frostlands. Especially if you are trying to explore and mine Malachite for long periods of time.
While you can find Malachite without scaling the snowy mountains, you shouldplan to craft andbring a Grappler with you.This will let youscale the side of the Frostland’s mountainsto reach higher levels, which is where you willfind more Malachite deposits.Alternatively,bring plenty of woodto build a lot of staircases to reach those higher spots.
You will need at least an UncommonPickaxe to mine Malachite, which you craft from your Crafting Bench.
With the component-based crafting, just ensure your Pickaxe has the green glow to indicate Uncommon,or go for a higher rarity if you have better resources. The better the Tool, the quicker it harvests materials.
How To Make Malachite Slabs

What Is Malachite Used For?
Malachite Slabs can be used to craftstronger equipment, such as weapons, tools,and charms. For example, you’ll be able to make the Hearty Totem for bonus health, a stronger Cool-Headed Charmfor heat resistance, and the Charm of Resilience to help in fights.
