Flax is an important crafting material if you want to keep progressing inEnshrouded, allowing you to craft Linen at the Hunter’s Hand Spindle. Flax is found throughout the Revelwood region of the game, which you’ll explore once completing the Revelwood Spire and receiving some quests in the area.
Flax is located alongside the path as well as in the woods - you’re looking for a plant with blue flowers, shown in the image at the top of this page. It’s easy to harvest and won’t require any special tools - you may also revisit areas repeatedly as Flax will regrow.

Where To Find Flax
Flax can be found throughout theRevelwood region. That’s the area around the Spire shown in the map above. The game will send you here as part of your progression questline.
Once you’re there, you’re on the hunt for a blue-flowered plant,as shown in the image below.
Flax will spawn throughout Revelwood in various locations.Sometimes close to the path, sometimes a little further away.
If you head down this route,shown in the map above, you’ll find plenty of Flax close to the path and in the trees.
How To Farm Flax
You’ll need plenty of Flax to turn into Linen, and it makes more sense to actually farm the Flax rather than constantly hunt for it in the wild.
If you’ve unlocked the Farmer, take your first Flax andturn them into Flax Seedlings that you can plant directly outside your base.
Each 1 Flax you collect can be turned into 10 Flax Seedlingswhen used in the Seed Bed and combined with Water.
To unlock the Seed Bed, you’ll need to first locate the Farmer in their NPC Vault and then craft the Seed Bed.
This is a much more reliable way to get the Flax you need, and it will save you time searching for the plant in the wild.

Linen is used for upgraded Ranger armor sets, like theRanger Setand theMarksman Set. If you’re playing a ranged build, these are solid options to upgrade your character as you start tackling Revelwood and beyond.
