It is said that shells carry with them the sounds of the ocean, and if you listen to one, you’ll be able to hear them. This concept has been adapted for the shells you find around the tower inJusant, but they don’t carry the sounds of the ocean.

When you interact with a shell, you’ll hear laughter, the clang of tools on rock, birds singing, people talking, and more. These shells carry with them the sounds of the people who used to live here, providing auditory context to the history of the tower as you continue your ascent. There are 12 shells to find altogether, and this guide will help you find each one.

Chapter 1: Daymark

Shell #1

The first shellyou come across is to theleft of a ladder, on the floor in front of what used to be a work table where they would make stone engravings.

Chapter 2: Migration

Shell #2

In an alcove filled with tables, chairs, and a yellow door,shell #2 is on the floor to the right of the door.

Shell #3

you’re able to find the third shell after a very lengthy climb up through the tower. When you find yourself onwooden scaffoldingwith a drawn bridge in front of you, the shell on the left next to your feet.

Chapter 3: Solstice

Shell #4

You’ll eventually come to a room filled with what used to bebaths with broken blue tiles. Climb up to the top, and on the other side,drop into the little alcove below.

At the back of this room,you’ll find a shell.

Shell #5

From the white tree where you foundLetter #20, climb up the vine, then take the elevator up to the platform above.

From there,you’ll start to ascend the wallusing the little pebble creatures. Keep right, and abouthalfway up, you’ll find a ledge.

Climb onto the ledge, and this iswhere you’ll find the shell.

Shell #6

Climb up into the space above this anchor point,walk down the dark hallway, then turn right, andyou’ll find the shell on the floor.

Chapter 4: Convergence

Shell #7

When you find yourself in a large hall filled with glowing fungi,you’ll see a ladder on either side. Take the ladder to the right, then go uptwo sets of stairs.

At the top of the stairs,turn right.There’ll be an open window and a door that’s partially ajar in front of you.To the left of the door is the shell.

Shell #8

You’ll find this shellinside a boaton the other side of the canal past the two locks.

Shell #9

This shell is found in a large cavernfilled with red jellyfish creatures. As you ascend to the top of the cavern,you’ll come to a sloped bridge.

Cross the bridge, then turn right, andyou’ll find the shell on the groundamong the rocks.

Chapter 5: Mirage

Shell #10

You’ll find this shell inside a broken pot in the same settlement where Bianca’s Journal #11 is found.

Shell #11

Head back out of the settlement andclimb back down and to the left.Soon, you should see a ledge to the left of one of the windmills.

Swing over there, and you’ll find ashell on the groundin front of a door.

Jusant: On a platform near what strange contraption that may have been a musical instrument, the shell is at your feet

Shell #12

Keep climbing higher and higher up through the heights.When you find a rest point on the side of a cliffwhere the wind is at its strongest,descend until you see a ledgebefore you with a blue vine.

Swing over, and at the end of the path,before the altar, you’ll find the shell on the floor to your left.
