Lunch boxes are the first type of collectible that you’ll find inAlan Wake 2.If you take time to explore Cauldron Lake during Saga’s first investigation of the crime scene, it’s possible to find a handful of them almost immediately. This is a great way to get early upgrades for her pistol!
Like all the game’s collectibles, finding every lunch box requires some backtracking. Be sure to drive back to Cauldron Lake often so that you can find everything, including the important upgrade components hidden in the lunch boxes.
Witch’s Hut Campsite
Near the west side of the Cauldron Lake area map, look for the Witch’s Hut. Walk past the building and cross the bridge to find a campsite, where you can find a lunch box hidden among some plants to the side.
Crime Scene Campsite
Look for alooping trail southwest of the crime scene.At the far end is a campsite with a lunch box.
FBC Station
As you climb the hill back to the parking lot after unlocking the gate,look for a path to the leftthat leads to an FBC monitoring station.Climb the ledge behind itto find a lunch box.
Scenic Overlook
Halfway down the main trail from the Parking Lot (the one that you originally took at the beginning of the game), there’s a photo spot off the main road. Check the southern edge to find a lunch box.
Main Road
After retrieving theHeartandShotgunfrom the General Store,walk past the light in the yardto find a section of the main road that’s been washed out. Follow it as far north as you’re able to; you’ll find a lunch boxnear the debris blocking the road.
Witchfinder’s Station
Once the Witchfinder’s Station is accessible, you may find a lunch boxalong the trail to the east of it.Check the map for a small clearing north of the main path.
Streamside
Once you can traverse the stream north of the Witch’s Hut,follow it as far east as you can.You’ll find a lunch box near a small waterfall.
Rental Cabins
Come back to Cauldron Lake after acquiring the Bolt Cutters and use them to access the Rental Cabins. The large building in front of the gate is actually two adjoining cabins;enter the one on the left, since the right-hand cabin is locked.
Leave the left cabin through the back door anduse the rear entrance to get into the right-hand cabin.Immediately to the left of the door is a lunch box on a shelf.
