Whether you want to purchase or craft new weapons and clothes, you’ll need to find the right resources. Whether that be money or the materials required to build your new equipment, leveling up your characters with the best Gear is a breeze thanks to the wealth of shops and crafting opportunities afforded to you.

Where To Buy New Weapons And Gear

Once you have free control of Ichiban and can walk around Japan, you can startgoing to stores like Love Magic, which provides Gear for those in your early party.

You canfind other storesthat provide weapons and other Gearvia the icon of the shield and daggeron the map. If you’re looking specificallyfor clothes and accessoriesto boost your party’s stats, thenclothing stores with the t-shirt iconare your best bet.

For astore description,recommendeditems, andpreviously purchaseditems,press the prompted ‘Details’ buttonwhen hovering over a store. This works on most map icons.

In Hawaii, you’ll start finding shops that are dedicated to individual jobs, likeWink Mini Mart, whichsells weapons specifically for Cabbies. If you’re looking for alarge concentration of stores, you cango to the Anaconda Shopping Center, whichyou’ll visit as part of the story.

You also have the chance tofind new weapons and other Gear in metal briefcasesthat are oftentucked away in cornersand other hidden areas. This could bearound the open world or in dungeons, somake sure that you’re checking every areathoroughly.

This also applies to thedifferent safes and large lockboxesthat can be found as well, but theserequire either one or three keysto unlock. Due to this,there is usually better Gearto be found than what you’d find in briefcases.

How To Craft New Weapons

After you get to Hawaii and begin to head to the Anaconda Shopping Center as part of a mission,you’ll be recommended Julie’s Gearworksby Revolve’s bartender. Once you speak to Julie,she’ll help repair Ichiban’s batfor free. From then on, you cango to any of her locations and craft new weaponsas long as you have the resources.

Further recipes can be unlocked byinvesting in Julie’s shop by selecting ‘Investment’on the Weapon Crafting menu.

Once you’ve talked to Julie andunlocked the ability to craft new weapons, you have the option touse your phone to access the weapon crafting menu. While you can’t upgrade weapons from the phone,you can view recipes to understand which resources you should collectbefore visiting Julie.
