Disney Dreamlight Valleyhas many fun activities, including gardening, mining, and fishing. These activities can be done daily, but the winter holidays bring a fun and exciting twist to the standard tasks. For example, fishing becomes much for festive and mining gems allows you to craft gifts for your villagers.
To take advantage of these festive changes, you need to know where to look. There are new holiday-themed duties to complete involving these seasonal alterations, and completion will reward you with new decorations and attire to celebrate with. Thankfully, we’ve done the work so you can focus on the fun part.
Where To Find Festive Fish
There arefive Festive Fish for you to findin Disney Dreamlight Valleyduring the holiday seasonfrom December 18 until December 31:

While these fish cannot be caught outside this timeframe, they can be stored and used throughout the year.
Festive Fish can befound in bodies of waterlike all other fish, however, thebubbles will be red and green. This helps them stand out, making them easier to spot when you are looking for them.
What To Do With Festive Fish
Festive Fish are essentially like all other fish. They can beused in recipesand gifted to villagers. However, their main purpose is tocomplete the Dreamlight Duty: Even Fish Are Festive!
To complete this duty, you’ll need tocatch one of eachof the five Festive Fish. Once you have, you canclaim your reward: a festive Santa hatto wear all year long!
Progress tracks from one year to the next, so if you caught three of the five fish one year, you can catch the remaining ones later to claim your reward.
