Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’sZombies mode received a small update with the Season One Reloaded patch. MWZ now has a second Warlord to fight, dropping high-quality loot when defeated. Known as Dokkaebi, this Warlord has taken up a skyscraper as her fortress from the undead horde, using military-grade electronics to keep her enemies at bay.

Compared to Legacy, Dokkaebi is arguably a tougher fight since her fortress is protected by sentry guns and a small army of bomb drones. Defeating her is no easy task, and the rewards you get from this fight are questionable at best. Read on to learn how to prepare for this fight, the best strategies for eliminating Dokkaebi, and a detailed breakdown of her rewards.

Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Bad Signal Prep

Preparing For The Fight

Before you decide to fight Dokkaebi, you’ll want to verify that you’re prepared.Dokkaebi’s fortress is filled with bomb drones, sentry guns, and armored soldiers. Most gunfights in this fortress are fairly close range, similar to theSAM Turret section in Shepherd, so be sure to bring plenty of armor plates and Self-Revive Kits.

If you’re attempting to fight Dokkaebi solo, here’s what we suggest:

Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Mediator Weapon

The Lockwood 680 is objectively the highest DPS weapon in MWZ right now. With the right attachments, this weapon fires ten slugs when Pack-A-Punched instead of the usual one, making it obliterate Dokkaebi’s health bar if you may land your shots. Since the place is packed with electronics, you can make great use of the Stormbringer or RGL-80 here.

Mortar Strike Cheese

It’s possible to kill Dokkaebi without setting foot in her stronghold. Purchase 5-6 Mortar Strike killstreaks and target the fortress. The blast radius from the mortars will destroy Dokkaebi’s drones and slowly lower her HP.

Fighting Dokkaebi

you’re able to find Dokkaebi atop thehighest skyscraper in quadrant D7, located in the Medium Threat zone.Similar to the Legacy Warlord, Dokkaebi’s complex is locked and requires a keycard to gain entry. You can find these keycards from Mercenary Strongholds and vehicle patrols.

However, you don’t actually need a keycard to access the roof of the building, the area Dokkaebi is guarding. If you climb up the tallest building in quadrant D6, you can use the zipline to reach Dokkaebi’s building; no key is needed.

Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Dokkaebi Warlord

When you reach the fortress, you will be surrounded by over a dozen mercenaries alongside some bomb drones. You’ll want todestroy the bomb drones as quickly as possible, as they will break multiple armor plates if they detonate on their own. A grenade launcher or Stormchaser should do the trick.

Dokkaebi can be found on any corner of the structure. You can simplyclimb up the cardboard walls to quickly figure out where she is.Shooting her from a distance is ideal, but you can get close if you’reusing the Lockwood 680or an SMG.Damaging her will cause Dokkaebi to grab onto a drone and reposition.Destroy her drones to temporarily prevent this.

The fight is similar to Legacy. Armored mercenaries will constantly spawn during this fight, and the arena is rigged with traps.Kill the mercenaries first, then focus on Dokkaebi.Defeat Dokkaebi, then grab her prized weapon before leaving.

Dokkaebi Rewards

Dokkaebi will always drop theMediatorweapon when slain. This is a weapon blueprint for the KVD Enforcer sniper rifle, featuring a unique black and red color scheme. Unfortunately, you do not unlock the Mediator blueprint if you extract with this gun.It is strictly a Contraband weapon for MWZ.

Beyond that, Dokkaebi has the same loot table as Legacy. She can dropLarge Backpacks, T3 Armor Vests, Self-Revive Kits, Wonder Weapons, and the Juggernaut killstreak. While those rewards sound great, the difficulty of this fight means you likely already have these items by the time you fight her. If you’re looking for unique cosmetics or schematics, Dokkaebi sadly doesn’t have any.

Is It Worth Fighting Dokkaebi?

No, fighting Dokkaebi is not worth it for the vast majority of players. The only reason to fight her is to earn the Dental Hygiene Calling Card, a cosmetic that requires you to defeat a Warlord within the first seven minutes of an MWZ match. She is much easier to kill than Legacy since Dokkaebi is in the open, but other than that niche reward, there’s no other reason to fight her.
