Quick Links
InEnshrouded, you will have a few different weapons and techniques that you can focus on. This includes becoming a powerful mage, or going the heroic route and becoming a sword-wielding Flameborn. How do you pick your class though? This isn’t as straightforward as other games.
Here, we are going to go over every available class in Enshrouded, as well as how you can pick your class. It’s important to note that there is no class-choosing screen; you will develop your class over time. There is flexibility in your class, so you can customize your playstyle to the fullest.

Enshrouded is currently in Early Access on Steam and as such, the content is subject to change. We will update these articles as required.
Where To Find Class Options
When you level up, you willgain skill points, which can then be used in the Skills menu (to quickly get here, press ‘H’). This menu shows a circular skill tree, branching out in every direction. At the end of each branch, you can find the name of a class.Below, you can check out each of these classes separated by their main attribute.
Ranger
Assassin
Each node on the skill tree requires acertain amount of points to activate. For example, the first node on the Tank branch costs one skill point and will increase your health by 50.
Primary Attributes
Above, we mentioned three attributes that deal with each class. In total, there aresix primary attributes that you can upgrade through the skill tree.Below, you can check out a description of each attribute.
Constitution
Health
So, if you invest in a node that increases your Spirit attribute by one, you will essentially gain more Mana. From the character menu, you may click’All Attributes’to get abreakdown of everything affecting you.
How To Pick A Class
To pick your class, you just need to invest points in the nodes related to a certain one. If you are set on becoming a Battlemage, then use your points to work towards the end of this branch.
You arenot locked into one class though;feel free to select nodes from other paths. Above, you can see that we focused primarily on the Wizard class, however, nodes have been unlocked for Healer and Battlemage.

Take some time tocheck out all unlockable nodes. Are you going for a ranged Bow build, but struggle with having enough health? Consider increasing your Constitution from the Tank or Warrior branch.
Unique Class Nodes
The smaller nodes on the skill tree are used toincrease certain attributes, while the medium-sized nodes providehelpful passives. For example, the first medium node on the Wizard tree will increase all damage by ten percent when attacking with a magical weapon. Above this, you can find a node thatreduces charge-up times for staffs.
In addition to these two node types, there are larger ones that have an icon in the center. These areclass-specific nodesthat you can unlock, providing afeature unique to the classchosen. Below, you can see every unique node and which class branch it can be found on.

How To Reset Skill Points
If you aren’t too happy with the skills you’ve selected, then you will be able to reset this.
From aFlame Altar, you’re able to choose’Reset Skill Points'.This will refund all invested skill points, but willcost you ten Runes.Overall, this isn’t very expensive, so feel free to reset your skill points if you are unhappy with your current build.
Runes drop fromenemies within the Shroud. You may be able to find one or two from low-level enemies, butlarger or more powerful enemies tend to drop more at a time.
Best Early Game Skill Nodes
Leveling up takes time, so you will most likely not be set on a class until you’ve progressed a bit. Instead, you canfocus on certain nodes that can help with early-game content.
Anyhealth-boosting nodecan come in handy as you explore with low-level armor. The first Warrior and Tank nodes will each provide 50 health, which can come in handy. Additionally, the Survivor and Beastmaster’s first nodes willboost your stamina. This comes in handy as you run around and explore the map.
Remember, you may reset your skill points. If you invested heavily in stamina and health-boosting nodes, you canreset this once you have sturdy armor and potions to boost these stats instead.
If you are playing by yourself, you may want to become an all-arounder, withskills from several branches. If, on the other hand, you are playing with several friends, it’s possible to focus on just one skill. For example, you can fully commit to the Healer branch and become the party healerfor any tough combat.
