If you’ve dreamed of making mischief and magic with your Sims, then look no further thanThe Sims 4: Realm of Magic. Become a spellcaster and cast all sorts of magic, from helpful spells to clean up your home to mischief spells. There’s an entire spellbook waiting to be discovered.
Of course, along with all the spells and magic comes Magical Artifacts. These items are new collectibles your Sim can enjoy. Better yet, unlike many other collectibles, these are all usable by Sims in their pursuit of the fantastic. Once you know where you can find these artifacts, you’ll want to grab them all.

What Are Magical Artifacts?
Magical Artifactsare a specialcollection of magical itemsthat can be found in the Realm of Magic game pack. You can collect all of them while playing the game.
These items can bebroomsticks, wands, and familiars.

Something special about the Magical Artifacts is that they are not only able to be displayed like other collectibles, but these items can beused by spellcaster Sims. Spellcasters can fly on broomsticks, use wands when performing magic, and have familiars join them in daily life.
Where To Find Magical Artifacts
All Magical Artifacts can be found inThe Magic Realm, either purchased from Castor’s Alley,orwon from magical duels.
To get to the Realm of Magic, head to the Glimmerbrook world and locate the portal by following the river. Choose theTravel to The Magic Realmoption by clicking on it. ChooseEnter the Portal.

The portal can be seen on the world map if you need help locating it. It’s on the west side of Glimmerbrook.
Magical Artifacts In Castor’s Alley
Once you’re in The Magic Realm, head to Castor’s Alley byclicking on the portal that glows red near the waterfall. This will take you to the shops in The Magic Realm, where you can purchase several Magical Artifacts.
There are two shops where you may purchase artifacts from. The shop with thepurple banner sells wands and familiars, while the shop with theorange banner sells brooms. Click to buy from either store.

The stores will rotate their stock, so you will need to visit multiple times to get all the artifacts this way.
Magical Artifacts From Dueling
You can also win Magical Artifacts by dueling other spellcasters. To start a duel, click on any spellcaster and chooseMagic, then chooseMagic Duel. From there, you can chooseDuel for Artifacts.
The winner of the duel will receive a random Magical Artifact.

Some artifacts are much harder to find. You are more likely to get them by dueling magic Sages. There are three Sages, all of which can be found in the building at The Magic Realm HQ:
You are more likely to win Rare artifacts from these Sims.

Winning against a Sage in a duel is very difficult. You will likely have to challenge them a few times to beat them. Luckily, you’re able to duel as many times as you want.

you’re able to check on your progress towards the Magical Artifacts at any time. Open yourSim’s Inventory, openHousehold Collectionsby clicking on the button with the diamond icon, and scroll down to Magical Artifacts. This will show you how many out of 26 you have.
How To Use Magical Artifacts
As mentioned, you can use any Magical Artifact you find.
To use brooms or wands, click on your Sim and choose Magic, thentoggle Always Use BroomsandAlways Use Wands. From there, you can find the wand and broom you want to use, click on it, and choose Set as Preferred.
For familiars,place the orb in the world and click on it. You can chooseBind Familiarand then set a name for it. To get the familiar to appear, click on your Sim, choose Magic, then Familiars, and pick Summon Familiars.
