What Are Hard Objectives?
Hard objectives are your mission’s backbone. Right from the start,they’re laid out on your tablet, clear as day.
Yourtablet can be pulled upin-game by holding ‘Tab’. It will go over mission specifics and lay out your hard objectives in bullet-point form.

Hard objectives are themust-do tasks, the checklist for successfully completing the missions. They tend to be objectives likearresting suspectsorfinding civilians. They’re transparent, allowing you to strategize and execute your mission simply without guesswork.
You’ll know youcompletedall thehard objectives, butnotall thesoft objectives, when the prompt “Mission Soft Complete” pops up in the top-left corner.

What Are Soft Objectives?
Soft objectives bring a layer of complexity to your missions. Unlike hard objectives,they’re a mysteryat the mission’s beginning. You won’t find them on your tablet from the jump; you’ve got to be the Sherlock Holmes of SWAT and spot them yourself while completing missions.
After you complete a soft objective, it will then pop up on your tablet.
