Summary
WithLethal Companyintroducing new updates and becoming more popular than ever, friends are consciously looking for more ways to spice up their gameplays. Thankfully, the game offers a rather dynamic weather system where moons can be foggy, stormy, flooded, or eclipsed. Now, only the truly masochistic would dream of playing onan eclipsed moon.
However, as quotas get larger and the difficulty ramps up, you and your crew might be forced to select a moon with adverse weather effects. That said, armed with the right tips and tricks, you and your hard-pressed team can overcome the odds and make it out alive and rich.

Lethal Company is still an early-access game and is subject to updates and changes.
7Know What You’re Getting Into
Let’s be real. The chances of surviving on an eclipsed moon are almost zero. Crews can be instantly demolished within minutes after making landfall due to the high spawn rate of external monsters such aseyeless dogs, forest giants, and worms.
For those of you who are seriously considering a haul on an eclipsed moon (whether by choice or not), you know the odds are stacked against you. That means that having a plan becomes essential if your haul is going to be a success.

6Have A Team
Going in alone is a death sentence. If by some miracle you do survive, your earnings will be incredibly meager as there are only so many things you’re able to manage and you are constrained by limited trips back and forth from the ship. Increase the odds of victory by having a team that knows what they’re getting into.
A full ship complement of four should do the trick. If you are playing mods, specifically mods thatincrease the ship crew capacity, you could try involving more players in an attempt to gain more from the operation.

5Designate The Bait
If you’re serious about pulling this off, you and your team need to know your roles before setting out. Due to the high presence of enemies outside the ship, it might be imperative to have one of your friends act as the bait and draw monsters away from other players and the ship.
This person should know the moon layouts, how each monster ticks, and also be nimble enough to duke enemies. This becomes especially important when the others are returning to the ship with loot. A bonus would be for this person to also know how to operate the terminal within the ship in case the operator meets some unfortunate fate. Alternatively, they can also assist with delivering the cargo from the facility back to the ship.

4Have An Operator
Each ship comes witha computer terminalthat you’re able to operate to open sealed doors, deactivate turrets or mines, and even warn others of nearby enemies with the walkie-talkie. However, communicating with other players during an Eclipse can usually mean instant death as the eyeless dogs outside will overhear any exchange.
Despite this, a person on the terminal can silently keep tabs on other players within the facility and assist them with turrets and doors. Moreover, as an operator, you can also keep your teammates alive by using the ship’s teleporter or transmitter. You might also be able to keep the bait alive and well, prolonging the bait’s effectiveness by beaming them back to the ship.

3Be Fast - Time Is Of The Essence
The longer you linger on an eclipsed moon, the slimmer your chances are of success. The key is to get in and quickly get out. Everyone needs to know their roles and execute them and should one person fall, the others can improvise and do their best to fill the gaps.
Knowledge of fire exits on the moons will be extremely helpful, giving a multipronged attempt to gather more valuable scrap. Another reminder is to leave collected scrap outside the facility entrances to prevent loot bugs from taking your valuable plunder and give others the chance to take it back in case you didn’t make it.

Choose a moon where the distance between the facility and the ship isn’t too far. Suggestions include Experimentation and Titan.
2Prioritize High Tier Loot
As you’re pulling off a risky operation, you should be keeping an eye out for high-tier scrap. Items such as gold bars, paintings, cash registers, and fancy lamps should be a priority as they give you the biggest bang for your buck.
Even getting them doesn’t mean you’ll be able to survive the trip back to the ship. So go light and take only a select few profitable items. Some scrap items that are decent but should be avoided are:

1Know When To Call It
Sometimes it’s good to know when to call it quits. That can sometimes mean a good old restart or for you to just pull out of the operation. This is a risky venture after all and it would probably take many attempts before you and your crew can have a successful eclipse run. If you or one of your crew spot a jester orthe ghost girl, then the run is most definitely over and you’ll need to try again.
That said, you or your team members might be the last ones alive, and valuable scrap was collected. So it may be worth it to go all and give it your all until the bitter end. You never know, it might be a pyrrhic success, but success nonetheless.
