You could take over as manager and settle doubts about who the best Portuguese team is before looking outward and gunning for European success. There is one more twist that makes managing this club incredibly challenging. They have a strict recruitment policy that only allows you to sign players from the Basque region in Spain, where the club is local. With that said, you won’t have access to the vast ocean of free agent signings or any other kind of signing if they aren’t Basque.
On the plus side, the Basque region has produced a lot of exceptional talents, and the club’s youth academy is hailed as one of the best in the world.
