It takes a lot of talent to create a game likeTales of Arise. Along with the stunt actors that help designers style the look of the game, multiple voice actors are used for each role to create the Japanese and Western versions of the game.

Hootle is a character who appears when there is an owl to discover nearby. You will end up seeing Hootle often throughout the game because it is also seen frequently with Rinwell. Its appearance signals an owl for you to find, with 38 owls to find in total.

Japanese Voice

Ali Nonka voices Hootle. Nonka is a Japanese actress who was previously involved in TV, working on the series Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, and has added her voice talents to the video game Dynasty Warriors 8 and to Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie.

English Voice

Megan Taylor Harvey is the English voice for Hootle. She has appeared as an actress on TV and has voiced several video game characters, appearing in Street Fighter 6, Silent Hope, and many others.

7Rinwell

Hootle is Rinwell’s companion, though both aremain charactersin Tales of Arise. Rinwell is a caster with a lot of magical abilities and a dark past. Rinwell has a big arc in the game and goes through a lot of changes as the story progresses.

Sayuri Hara has used her voice for a number of animated projects in TV and movies. In the game world, she has previously voiced characters in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R and Yurucamp Have a Nice Day!

Christine Marie Cabanos is the voice of Rinwell in the English version of the game. She has lent her voice to many video games, includingSuper Mario Bros. Wonderand Rune Factory 5.

6Alphen

Alphen is the main character in Tales of Arise, starting out as Iron Mask. He has no memories and must discover who he is through the game, which makes for a compelling story and an interesting protagonist.

Takuya Sato is the voice of Alphen. Sato is a TV actor and has lent his voice to many animated series. His voice talents have also been featured in a number of games, including Maro Golf: Super Rush.

Ray Chase voices Alphen in the English version of Tales of Arise. He has many voice roles to his credit, including characters inFinal Fantasy 15,Street Fighter 6, andDiablo 4.

5Kisara

Kisara is a soldier who serves Dohalim. Kisara is extremely capable and dedicated, making her an able fighter.

Haruna Ikezawa is the voice of Kisara. Ikezawa was born in Greece and has a long list of video game credits. Previously, Ikezawa has voiced characters in Transformers: Beast Wars Metals, Crash Bandicoot 2, and Crash Bash. She has also voiced characters in animated TV series and has been lending her voice to animated characters since she was five years old.

In the English version of the game, Kisara is voiced by Katelyn Gault. She has acted on Days of Our Lives and her voice talents have been featured in the animated series Aggretsuko.

4Dohalim

Dohalim is an artist with a noble past. He has a romantic backstory and he is a capable fighter that performs a number of different attacks.

Yasuyuki Kase is the voice of Dohalim. Kase has a long history of using his voice talents for animated TV series and video games, previously working on JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R.

Griffin Puatu’s voice is well-known to video game fans. In addition to providing the English voice for Dohalim, he has voiced major roles inSpider-Man 2and Street Fighter 6, among many other projects.

3Shionne

Shionne suffers from a terrible curse. She is a ranged fighter who is skilled with projectile weapons.

Shino Shimoji voiced Shionn. Shimoji has used her voice for a number of animated TV series and video games. Previously, she worked onXenoblade Chronicles 3andDigimon Survive, among others.

Erica Lindbeck voices Shionne in English versions of the game. Her voice has been featured in multiple animated series, including ThunderCats Roar. Her video game credits include Spider-Man and World of Warcraft: Warbringers.

2Law

Law is a still somewhat mysterious character without much of a known backstory. He is a close-up melee fighter who can do a lot of damage.

Yoshitsugu Matsuoka voices Law. Matsuoka has used his voice for a number of TV series characters, lending his talents to projects including Protocol: Rain and Goblin Slayer. He has also used his talent for multiple video games.

Bryce Papenbrook is the English version voice of Law. He is a second-generation voice actor who has worked on hundreds of animated TV series and video games. His voice has been heard in Call of Duty: Ghosts and other projects.

1Nazamil

Nazamil was introduced in the Beyond the Dawn DLC. She is a mysterious character with noble blood who does not fit in anywhere due to her mixture of Renan and Dahnan blood.

Atsumi Tanezaki is the voice of the mysterious Nazamil. Born in Japan, she has provided her voice to a number of TV series and video games, includingDetective Pikachu Returns.
