The power you’re able to get fromHearthstone Battlegrounds' Quest Rewards is often great, but the requirements to complete them vary significantly in difficulty. It is true that the amount of work you need to do in each circumstance will depend on the exact numbers involved; playing ten Battlecry minions, for example, is easier than playing seven.

That said, some Quests will be easier to complete on average than others, no matter what the numbers might be. Let’s take a look at which Quests you should aim for when given the opportunity.

Follow the Money Hearthstone Battlegrounds Quest

Quests each have a baseline requirement, one that can vary based on factors like the strength of your Hero and the power of the reward offered.

10Follow The Money

Baseline Completion Requirement: 33

You might expect Follow the Money to be ranked higher on this list, since spending gold is something you will naturally do every turn. And if you’re an experienced player, you’ll know that you want to use it as efficiently as possible.

The trouble you’re able to run into with this Quest is that it often requires you to spenda lotof gold, so completing it might take longer than you would like. You can speed up the process a bit by selling minions, even if doing so doesn’t necessarily make you stronger in the short term, but that will only give you so much extra gold.

Cry for Help Hearthstone Battlegrounds Quest

9Cry For Help

Baseline Completion Requirement: 4

Battlecry minionsare generally relatively common, and some of them even create more Battlecry minions for you to play. As a result, in the ideal scenario, you’re able to complete Cry for Help within a couple of turns.

All of that said, it is entirely possible to just get unlucky and miss out on them entirely, which isn’t a problem for almost any of the other Quests in the game. If Bob doesn’t give you any Battlecry minions for the first few turns, your progress will be slowed significantly.

Invite the Guests Hearthstone Battlegrounds Quest

8Invite The Guests

Baseline Completion Requirement: 7

Invite the Guests isn’t a Quest you can really cheat your way to finishing. While it is true that buying minions is something you do all the time, how often you can do it is limited by the amount of gold you have in any given turn, something that is particularly problematic early in the game.

Certain Heroes, like Xyrella, can buy minions for a lower cost, and when playing as one of them this Quest becomes significantly better. In most cases, though, you’ll need to finish it the conventional way.

Dust for Prints Hearthstone Battlegrounds Quest

7Dust For Prints

Baseline Completion Requirement: 18

The Dust for Prints Quest doesn’t just involve buying Minions from Bob’s Tavern, although that is one way to complete it. There are a lot of other methods for adding cards to your hand, including various Battlecries, but also certain non-minion options, like Coins.

Some of the more notable non-minion examples are exclusive to certain minion types, like Blood Gems and Spellcraft, so if Quilboar or Naga are in the lobby, this Quest rises in priority. Additionally, there are several Heroes, like the new Doctor Holli’dae, that can add cards to your hand with their Hero Powers.

Assemble a Lineup Hearthstone Battlegrounds Quest

6Assemble A Lineup

Baseline Completion Requirement: 17

Assemble a Lineup’s power comes in large part from the existence of minions with Deathrattle or Reborn, which provide an extra Quest trigger whenever they die. Some such minions even summon multiple bodies, which really accelerates how quickly you can finish the Quest.

It helps that these effects tend to be relatively powerful in the early game, so you won’t be weakening your board much by playing them. You should also remember that just playing a minion normally does count as summoning it, so you will always be working towards completing this Quest, even without fancy keywords.

Find the Murder Weapon Hearthstone Battlegrounds Quest

5Find The Murder Weapon

Baseline Completion Requirement: 14

There are a lot of ways to increase your minions’ attack in Battlegrounds;Murlocs, for example, have Swampstriker, which gains attack any time you play another Murloc. However, while the list of similar effects is numerous, some minion types are more blessed than others.

The aforementioned Murlocs can gain stats quickly and easily, whilePirates have fewer options. As a result, depending on which minion types are in your lobby and which specific minions you happen to encounter, finishing Find the Murder Weapon can become significantly more difficult.

Hire an Investigator Hearthstone Battlegrounds Quest

4Hire An Investigator

Baseline Completion Requirement: 3

Finishing Hire an Investigator is extremely easy to do; just wait around with unspent gold for a few rounds, and boom, you’re done. Unfortunately, that ease is balanced out by the fact that it will take a guaranteed amount of turns to finish.

As a result, certain other Quests can be done faster if they end up in an optimal scenario, although Hire an Investigator dodges the risk of getting unlucky and missing out on Quest progression. However, losing one gold each turn does put you at a real disadvantage, so there’s a good chance you will lose a lot of early combats.

Unlikely Duo Hearthstone Battlegrounds Quest

3Unlikely Duo

Baseline Completion Requirement: 5

The key to making Unlikely Duo easy to finish is that the description of this Quest says “play” not “buy.” There are quite a few minions in Battlegrounds that generate cards with the same type as themselves, giving you two ticks of Quest progression for the price of one.

The example that comes to mind first is probably Primalfin Lookout, a Murloc that creates more Murlocs, but there are other examples as well. And the fact that this Quest lets you play minions of two different types only makes it easier.

Sort It All Out Hearthstone Battlegrounds Quest

2Sort It All Out

Sort It All Out is one of the few Quests that doesn’t rely on luck at all, instead finishing after a set number of rounds. However, it does force you to reduce your combat effectiveness significantly if you want to make it work.

In the early game, this sacrifice matters less, as the difference in attack between your strongest and weakest minions is lower, as is the damage you take from losing. But it is still a risky move to put yourself at that sort of disadvantage.

Track the Footprints Hearthstone Battlegrounds Quest

1Track The Footprints

Baseline Completion Requirement: 9

You can often finish Track the Footprints extremely quickly, simply by using all of your gold to refresh the Tavern over and over again. Of course, that will generally not be the best idea, since you won’t be improving your board at all while doing so.

However, even if you spread the cost out over a few turns, the Quest can be easily progressed during the course of normal play. It doesn’t depend on you finding any minions in Bob’s Tavern or something happening in combat; just refresh the Tavern a few times each turn, and you’ll finish the Quest soon enough.

The Hero Nozdormu, who gets you a free refresh each turn, will make this Quest substantially easier.
