InPrince Of Persia: The Lost Crown, you’ll spend a good amount of time chasing memories from the past and solving puzzles scattered throughout the cursed mountain. No matter where you go, there’s always something hidden for you to find, and so long as you have the skills to get to it, it can all be yours.
When the Old Man sends you to the Pit of Eternal Sands to break a few seals, that’s just the beginning. There’s more to do once you descend, and it can be a little difficult to get your bearings as you learn how to navigate the sands.
How To Reach The Second Seal
After you break through the Pit of the Eternal Sands, you’ll find yourselffalling quite a way into the Pit of Eternal Sands. There aretwo ways to reach the next sealin the pit: by taking the short route or the scenic route.
you’re able to climb the falling sand, regardless of the direction in flows in.
Going to theright will be the longer route, but you can still reach the pit from there. Going to theleft will be shorter, and you canunlock a shortcutto make this part of the map easier to traverse later. Either way, ensure tounlock the Wak-wak treeto replenish your health and supplies.
Beware of the red crystals. Touching them means instant death.
Your task is to find the Darkest of Souls deep below, but to do that, you’ll have to break more seals to do so.
If you get lost trying to find the seals, backtrack to where you last saw the golden ribbons and follow them!
How To Break The Eastern Seal
Head to the eastto start your journey for the seal. Jump onto the wall andwait for the sound of the trap trigger. Then,jump on top of the retractable snakeand run across to the next platform.
Do the same again to get further up in the room, thoughbe cautious around the red crystals. At the top of the room,dash over the crystalsand follow the ribbon to land on the platform.
Before you run ahead,keep an eye on the floor!
The markers for the retractable snakes can be difficult to see, and you don’t want to run into them.
Wait for the snake to retractbefore attempting to jump off the wall. Do this again when there’s a wider stretch of space to get over the wall of red crystals. Thendrop down between the wallslined with red crystals anddash out of the waybefore the retractable snake hits you.
The next step will take precision.Crystallize your place, then trigger the retractable snake head. Before you hit the red crystals, bring yourself back to the crystallized position and jump onto the snake.
Slide under the red crystalsas the snake head retracts, then jump back and forth along the wall to reach the next platform.
Quickly step out of the way so you don’t get crushed by one of the snakes at the top!
Use the snake head to bounce off of andleap over the red crystalsto the right. Dash into the wall, thenjump back onto the side of the snake that comes upand launch yourself over the crystals andenter the next room.
You can pick up a collectible lore item here, at the base of the sands.
Ride the sands up to unlock the next Wak-wak treeand a Fast Travel location. Circle back andtake the sands even higher and enter the room on the left. You’ll have to deal with the crystals and retractable snake heads again, but you’re almost to the seal.
When you hear the sound of the trap, jump.Run across it to reach the wall.Trigger the next one, then wait for it to retract before running along the open path.
Jump onto the head again as it triggers and scale the wall,dashing between crystals and using the retractable trap as a wallto bounce off.
Slide along the wallto trigger the next trap, the slide along it to get past the red crystals.Jump onto the break away platformand get ready to jump between the different platforms: both breakaway and retractable.
This is a longer sequence without a safe place to stop, so timing is key.
Once youdrop past a long wall of red crystals, you’ll see the seal.Used a charged attackto break it and leave the room.
How To Break The Western Seal
To break the western seal, head left from the pit. Jump between the walls to enter the next room. Here, you’ll have to navigate the falling sands and watch out for the massive centipedes that roam the area. They’ll clear the way for you, but don’t touch them.
Keep an eye out for faint trails in the sands that show you where the centipedes will go.
Dash between the sandsto avoid falling on the red crystals, andcontinue to make your way to the left. There’s more falling sands and centipedes here, so carefully navigate around them. You’ll have tofollow closely behind some of themto get through the crystals they break before the rocks reform.
Once you reach the top,enter the room on your right. Navigate the sands once again and avoid the centipedes' paths. You canhide in corners of the sandsto stay out of the way while you make your way through the chamber.
You can collect a Xerxes here if you go up and to the right.
Try tostay in the safe areasand take your time. When youreach the top of the room, you’ll come across the seal. Use a charged attack to break it, thenhead on back to the pitto watch it unlock.
How To Reach Azhdaha
Once you break both seals,the pit below you will open.Make sure you’re prepared before heading in, as it’s a long way down and a battle is waiting for you.
When you descend, you’ll encounter theAzhdaha boss fight, which can be especially tricky with his attacks and range. You’ll want to keep an eye on his movements and be ready to run.
