For the most part,Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Nameisn’t a particularly tough game. That is true even if you are playing on the “Professional” difficulty. However, with its emphasis on team management, and the removal of your ability to use items, the Coliseum’s Hell Team Rumble most certainly contains some of the game’s most challenging content.
There are a number of unique circumstances presented in this mode, and with each round you fight, the stronger the enemy team will be. We’ll go into everything from the enemies you will encounter in each round and provide you with the best tips possible to secure the best outcome.

Hell Team Rumble Enemy Types
You will encounter a number of different enemy types during your time in the Hell Team Rumble. The typical enemy you will encounter is a regular-sized fighter wearing a green mask. During the later encounters, they will often come armed with different weapons.Mixed in will be a few that seemingly have specialized skills. Some will fight you using Muay Thai, while others are particularly adept at wielding swords. However, the majority of these troops are pretty weak.
Alongside the typical troops are the Heavy variants. These guys are able to shrug off attacks, can’t be grappled with Spider Gear, and come with a unique throw attack. You will often want to deal with these troops directly, as they can really bog down your teammates.

Speaking of resilient troops, you will encounter four different giant warriors in the Hell Team Rumble. All of them are extremely tough, shrug off attacks, resist all throws, and they come with a ton of health bars.Beyond that, each of the four has a different unique weapon and moveset…
Special Arena Conditions
You will encounter three primary variations during your Hell Team Battle mode.In certain stages, a number of weapons will be scattered around the arena. So, bringing fighters who specialize in using weapons will benefit you greatly in these battles.
Akira Guren
Mr. Masochist
Another type of arena will see the ground burst in flames, causing anyone who is knocked down to become engulfed in flames. Ideally, you willbring some fire resistant characters to give yourself an advantage.
Patriarch Gondawara
Yappi-Kun
Alongside the scorched arena type, there is the Electrified arena. These arenas have an electrified fence that surrounds the perimeter of the room. If you touch them you will be shocked.Bring fighters who are resistant to Electricity to make life easier.
Keita Kuroyanagi
Kamiyama
Additionally, you will encounter two matches that feature both the scorched groundandthe electrified perimeter wall. The final battle is on a rooftop. If you knock enemies up into the air, you can toss them over the side. This will instantly kill them. That being said, it is probably a touch too finicky to aim for.
The best way to take advantage of this arena is to engage your Heat Mode while in the Agent Style when you see a bunch of enemies clustered around the outside edge.Your Heat Mode is more likely to pop enemies up into the air, so you will be more likely to knock a bunch out.

Prepping For Hell Team Rumble Matches
We’ve already mentioned how it is beneficial to bring fighters who are resistant to the conditions found on certain stages, but this also applies to Joryu. You will want to use equipment that can help Joryu power through these environmental hazards. If you know you are going to be fighting on a stage with an electrified fence, make sure to equip a piece of gear that will give you resistance to electricity.
In regards to gear, make sure you focus more on having gear that boosts attack over defense. While you don’t want to completely ignore defense, having party members with the ability to heal will help you stay alive. Time is probably your biggest obstacle in the later sections, as the enemies start getting extremely hard to kill, especially when they can heal mid-battle.

Another extremely important element is going to be your Heat Mode. When you are aiming for the S-Rank, being able to take out multiple troops quickly is important. So,remember to fill your Heat Meter upbeforeyou start the match, you won’t be able to use items during the match, so it is now or never.
Team Composition
The trick to building an effective team is going to be trying to fit as many attackers in as possible. Damage is king in this mode. However, you can’t just stack your team with the highest attackers and call it a day. They need to be able to live long enough to land a few punches. So, you will need to add a healer or two as well. Defenders can be useful as well, but later in the game, when you really need to take out enemies as quickly as possible, most defenders will slow you down too much, as they generally lack attack power.
Make sure to pay close attention to the Heat Skill of each character as well. Some attackers have healing abilities, which can help you reduce the number of Healers you need to bring to battle. This isn’t going to be too great of a consideration initially, but once you get to the final Platinum battles, you will find that time can be quite tight.
