Along with pre-built house recipes inLego Fortnite, you have individual construction pieces. These individual pieces allow you to create your own unique base, but it can seem like a daunting task. Where should you build your base? Which biome looks the best with which house?
There are a couple of creative options when it comes to town placement and design. You can utilize both pre-builts and individual construction pieces to craft a village that no one has seen before. Below are some ideas about what you can do with your village.
5Winter Wonderland
Though Log Cabin build recipes are unlocked via the Grasslands,they look best in the Frostlands. Nothing screams cozy vibes more than log structures on a chilly night during winter.
The Frostlands are challenging to get into since you could die from Freezing. You should build a comfortable base somewhere safe first and prepare to voyage into the Frostlands to create a new, cozier base.
To make this dream come true, you will want to have everything you need to survive the cold, such as theInner Fire Charmand Spicy Peppers or Spicy Burgers.
Aside from Log Cabin builds, you should utilize flooring pieces in the Building Parts menu to create the illusion of a pathway. By heading to Building Parts and then Floors, you can select one of theRustic Thin Floor pieces to your desired length. These floor pieces can be placed down to create fake pathing that is easy to walk over.
4Beach House
Most of the world in Lego Fortnite is forest or desert, leaving more to be desired if you prefer other themes. That is where the beach comes in. It may take a long while to find the biome Shores. Shores are just any piece of beach you find and aren’t as big as other biomes.
You should use Pleasant Park builds on the Shores. Pleasant Park buildings will look best here because of their color scheme and style. In the photo above, we decided to utilize the Pleasant Pavilion more than the Roomy or Spacious Homes.
Sand is a unique ground you want to emphasize, not erase. So, instead of using flooring pieces to create a pathway, you should use archways and fencing for pathways.We used the Pavilion Archunder Building Parts > Walls > Arches.
To make a pavilion feel more at home, head to Building Parts in the utility menu and select Walls. Use any wall that shares a similar color scheme and place them inside the pavilion to create small rooms. We used one Pleasant Interior Wall 04, then Pleasant Interior Wall 03 and 01 on the other side, leaving a small space open as the doorway.
3Town Hall
Reddit user slimrizlapleasehas shared the perfect example of a town hall in Lego Fortnite. They have made sure to mostly use Majestic Manor piecesto define the town and then used other build pieces inside for further character.
This user used Castle Floor as the main ground for the entire town andBlack Streetlightfor all outdoor light sources.Two pre-built Tower Manor’s are at the entrance of the town. The user seems to have created their own manor using Majestic Manor Building Parts, at the opposite end of the town.
Slimrizlaplease utilizes other pre-build recipes such as Log Cabins next to gardens and Pleasant Park homes on the outskirts as regular housing. The most important feature here is that the Village Hub is at the very centerof this entire town. All of this comes together to create a cohesive-looking town.
2Forest Castle
Majestic Manor builds are castle-like, and what better place to have a castle than in a crowded forest? You should utilize a heavily tree-populated area and start building a castle there. Your best bet is the outskirts between Grasslands and Frostlands with tall evergreen trees.
Make sure to have a lot of Castle fencing on the perimeter to give off that royalty, kings-only feel and to protect your peasants from lurking monsters.
1The Grand Shogun Palace
Shogun Palace builds are by far the coolest-looking buildings in the game. It can be hard to figure out where to place them because their style does not match most of the game and its other elements.
To really emphasize the elegance and grandeur of a Japanese-styled palace, you should build your Shogun Palace in a place that really sticks out. The Grasslands biome will do, but you should place it either at thevery top of a mountain or near a waterfall. It is even better if you may find a mountain near a waterfall.
Waterfalls are naturally occurring in Lego Fortnite. Just find a river and follow it until you reach the right end of it.
Adding a large, winding staircasethat leads to the Shogun Palace will increase the impressive look you are going for.
