InCoral Island, there are dozens of Townies to meet and build friendships with. From your closest neighbors to the different shopkeepers around Starlet Town, there’s a diverse cast of characters to interact with as you work to restore the Town Rank and revitalize the community.
However, not every Townie is a stand-up citizen. While they all care about the community and the town, some of them need to work on their personalities. In contrast, there are plenty of people with stellar attitudes and wholesome relationships. These are the best Townies in Coral Island that you should get to know.
10Dippa
Dippa is the local artist, and they are married to Emma, who runs the taco truck. The two of them live together in a cottage north of town. Dippa spends most of their timelooking for inspirationaround the island and painting.
They are one of the easier Townies to find, since they don’t go out at night and stick to their schedule year-round. You’ll find that they are a friendly face and enjoy good company, so it’s worth going out of your way tovisit and befriend them.
9Sam
You’re likely to get to know Sam and see him often. Heruns the general storeand sells the seeds that you need to begin your farm. While you’ll make trips to the store regularly, it’s worth getting to know the man behind the counter.
Visiting Sam and befriending him will show how hecares deeply for the town and his family. He loves dancing with his wife, Emily, and playing games that exercise his brain. Puzzles and chess are two of his favorite activities, and he puts a lot of effort into decorating for the holidays.
8Connor
Connor is themayor of Starlet Town, and he takes pride in his work. He used to run a store like Sam before taking on his new role in leading the town. He’s a cheerful character who isknown for his many hats. You can even help himfind his hatwhen one gets lost.
Connor lives alone north of town, but hefrequently visits other businesses and residencesto check in on the people of Coral Island. He has a big heart and very diverse schedule, depending on the season.
7Kira
Kira is a retired hunter in theBand of Smiles, and she lives in the Huntress Cabin with her husband, Jack, and her son, Kenny. She spends most of her time in the forest and doesn’t take time to celebrate birthdays, but she cares for her family.
She prides herself onbeing almost entirely self-sustainable. When she’s not int eh forest, you may find her playing the flute or doing yoga in town with the others in Leah’s class. Kiraoften posts requestson the Band of Smiles errand board.
6Antonio
Antonio is anactive presence in Starlet Town, as he has alarge family and many connectionsto people. His ex-wife, Suki, co-parents their daughter, Valentina, with him when he’s on the island. He loves his family and fashion passionately.
He remains on good terms with his ex-wife, and despite pondering if this may work out, he’s content tomove on and continue an amicable friendshipwith her for the sake of their daughter. Getting to know him will reveal more about his family and the island.
5Anne
Anne is married to Paul, and they share a daughter, Zoe. As awell-known wildlife enthusiast, she produces content with her family about the fauna on Coral Island.Adventure runs in the family, as her younger brother Mark is also part of the Band of Smiles.
Anne’s primary focus is tokeep her family safe, which can be difficult with her daughter’s wild streak. She also gets frustrated when Paul prefers to forage over purchasing things they need from the general store, but she admires the thought.
4Dinda
Dinda isa local carpenter, alongside her husband Joko. She lives to the west of town with him and her son, Archie, who constantly excels at festival minigames. Thegarden outside her houseis one of her favorite places to be, along with the yoga classes that Leah holds.
As adevoted mother and hard worker, she doesn’t have a lot of free time, but what she does have is for her family. Aside from hiring her services to improve your own home, it’s worth the time to befriend her and get more involved in her life.
3Erika
Erika works at the salon and is apillar of the community. She has connections to just about everyone, and as the best hairstylist in town, sheknows a lot of secretsand helps people work through their problems. Her advice is highly sought after , and she’s happy to help.
She’s married to Frank, and they have a good relationship with their whole family. Additionally, she says things as they are. If she weren’t already married, it’d beeasy to fall in love with her.
2Betty
Betty has lived a long and eventful life. Her many children are her pride and joy, and she’smore than happy to help anyonewho asks, even at the risk of her own health.
She works tirelessly torefill the birdfeeders, teaching the children about the coral reefs, and baking delicious pastries. Her home is the upper floor of the Fishensips tavern, which her late husband used to run. She worries about her son that lives abroad, but enjoys a comfortable life in Starlet Town.
1Ling
Ling is by far the most interesting of Townies. She arrived not too long ago asa marine biologist, and lives with her husband, Randy, and her step-daughter, Leah. You’ll work closely with her tohelp revitalize Coral Islandthrough scientific discoveries, but there’s more to her than meets the eye.
Ling also helps you clean up the ocean floor and activate the devices thereveal the merfolk kingdom. As you get to know her, you’ll learn even more about her history and connection to the island.
