Summary

Thanks to the sheer amount of characters available to play inMy Hero Ultra Rumble, there is a shocking amount of team compositions available to you. Being able to play with two other people on your team, you can combine three different heroes and villains in an effort to create the best team possible.

While every team composition is going to have its own strengths and weaknesses, there are tons of great options. You can form the perfect attack squad, have an advanced team to set up massive traps, or play as defensively as possible to dominate the rest of the players in the match.

Additional Offense

This is easily one of the most commonly suggested team compositions out there, and for good reason. This is one of the most balanced teams possible and is filled with three incredibly easy-to-use characters.

You’ve gotBakugo for his incredible movement optionsand blindingly fast damage output with Midoriya backing him up and an all-around solid option. Then you have Todoroki to help give the team defensive options while assisting, so it’s really easy to see success with this team composition, but it might get a bit stale quickly.

Howitzer Impact

Up-Close Attack

This fantastic team may seem a bit odd at first, but with the specialization each character offers, you have so many different strategies to try. Cementoss is capable of making massive walls, Dabi can set up traps in a few ways, and Bakugo can be there to wallop anyone foolish enough to get close.

A composition like this will require communication and each player understanding the strengths and weaknesses of each character, but it will keep things interesting. As long as Bakugo always sticks close to his teammates, even when a plan doesn’t go well, you should still be fine.

Hit-And-Run

While Yaoyorozu and Iida may not be some people’s favorite My Hero Academia characters, they can make a massive impact on the battlefield in My Hero Ultra Rumble. Using hit-and-run strategies and maintaining a distance from your foes is key to success here.

The idea here is to use Yaoyorozu for support and massive unexpected damage whilethe always-excellent Todorkiand Iida use their immense mobility options to land huge hits and stay on the move. With three people working in unison, it can be tough to even figure out if this composition is a single team or two separate teams.

Nebulous Space

A common theme with some of the best team compositions is Bakugo, and that’s no different here. He’ssuch an excellent offensive characterthat it’s hard to not suggest having him on a team. Combined with Shiozaki and Uraraka, this team has limitless potential.

This composition does rely on someone having mastered the tricky Uraraka to get the best return on your investment, but Bakugo’s blind strength and Shiozaki’s support abilities (including her ability to immobilize enemies) more than make up for someone having to learn Uraraka.

Himiko Toga posing in My Hero Ultra Rumble.

Todoroki is another character that is often suggested thanks to how useful he is in every situation. When paired with Iida, Todoroki is a serious danger on the field, and adding Toga to that team can further aid in the potential confusion.

Once again focusing more on hit-and-run tactics, Todoroki and Iida can decimate enemies with surprising speed. Toga should always remain close, using her quirk to confuse players as she acts as a foe, so as long as the Toga player is well-versed with different characters, this time is seriously dangerous.

If you want to dash around the battlefield absolutely obliterating your foes, the team of Bakugo, Iida, and Uraraka is a blast to try. You won’t be able to take too much damage when compared to some of the other compositions out there, but that’s fine if you can master character movement.

All three characters allow for some seriously impressive movement, meaning it can be hard to keep track of any of them. This is further made difficult when other characters pile on attacks, meaning this team can wipe out an entire team without ever taking damage if you make the right moves at the right time.

Izuku Midoriya uses Black Whip in My Hero Ultra Rumble.

A really fun team to give a shot for those who aren’t yet masters of the game is Toga, Bakugo, and Midoriya. Once again, Bakugo’s toolset makes him vital to team composition, with Midoriya acting as a great option for beginners looking to learn the game.

The Toga for the team can make up for any shortcomings thanks to her quirk. At the same time, if Toga ends up with access to a character that won’t help much in a fight outside of confusion, the combined power of Bakugo and Midoriya will once again save the day/

Create: Bullet Rain

Support

Much like how Cementoss makes for a great pair with Dabi, he can also be a great pairing with Shigaraki and Yaoyorozu. Since Shigaraki’s moves are heavily based around attack areas, Cementoss’s moves that limit enemy movement can be mixed to great effect.

This is a tricky team composition to get working well, but it would likely be a seriously fun challenge for pro players. Yaoyorozu’s support for this group helps to cover for escaping enemies, but once again, having a solid plan makes this team a major threat.

All Might and Izuku punch another fighter into the air in My Hero Ultra Rumble.

Chanbara Blade

Close-Range Attacker

An oddball composition but one that some have found to be a lot of fun is the mixture of All Might withthe lesser-picked Mt. Lady and Kirishima. All three will allow you to deal serious damage to enemy groups in ways they may not be ready for.

Mt. Lady and All Might can both act as great distractions while also being able to act as great fighters. Kirishima is the unique fighter in the group as his close-range attacks and the fact that he isn’t often picked will take groups by surprise, especially if you’ve gotten good with him.

Iida throws a kick in My Hero Ultra Rumble.

Heaven-Piercing Ice Wall

Defense & Attack

This team composition combines what are arguably the three best characters in the game. You combine incredible speed with a lot of damage output potentialand basic defensive options.

You won’t want to be broadcasting where you are as this group, but instead, lying in wait and swooping into the middle of ongoing fights is the real strategy. The power and speed of each character allow you to swoop in and wipe two teams at once, as long as you remain united and focused on your enemies.
