Overpass has been one of the best maps inCounter-Strike 2 (CS2), and the visual overhaul has made it pretty pleasing. In terms of gameplay, it is quite balanced, and the side that controls the critical positions of the map will most likely be able to convert the rounds.
Learning thedifferent smoke lineupswill undoubtedly play a vital role in ensuring map control, so it is generally recommended to stay aware of the common lineups. 7Monster Smoke
A quick early-round smoke that you can utilize on the Counter-Terrorist side of Overpass would be the Monster smoke. This will block the vision of the Terrorists looking to take control of Monster quickly and, subsequently, the B site. Your teammates may additionally push towards Short and have an aggressive setup.
To throw the Monster smoke, stand adjacent to the Dumpster and aim your crosshair, as shown in the image above. Then, you must jump-throw the grenade for it to land at the start of Monster. You must exert caution as Terrorists might flash and push the smoke.
6B Short Tunnel Smoke
Another quick smoke for the Counter-Terrorists would be for the B Short Tunnels, and you could deploy this from the CT Spawn itself. After deploying this smoke, you can take control of the Short side and even push the Connector, which can be considerable control of the map in the early stages of a round.

5Bridge Smoke

4Pillar Smoke

2Bank Smoke

The smoke for the Bank can be deployed by standing beside the Bench that is present just outside the Connector. You just have to put your crosshair on top of the umbrella around the central region. To complete the execution, jump-throw the smoke grenade, and it will land outside the required position in a few seconds.
1Bins/Dumpster Smoke
The Bins or the Dumpster is a tremendous smoke that will land in the CT Stairs, covering a critical position of the A site.
