The Renetti is a three-round burst sidearm introduced inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.Its fast fire rate and minimal recoil make it an excellent backup option for when your primary weapon runs out of ammo. Alternatively, you can also use MW3’s updated Gunsmith system to morph this weapon into a fast-firing SMG.

Thanks to the Aftermarket Parts system, the Renetti is the perfect weapon for virtually every playstyle. From a backup quickdraw pistol to a secondary SMG, this guide will showcase two of the best Renetti builds in MW3 that excel in any loadout across all of Modern Warfare 3’s various game modes.

Updated August 02, 2025, by Charles Burgar:The Renetti has received a new conversion kit in MW3’s fourth season, turning the weapon into the classic M9 pistol. We’ve updated this guide to include a build guide for the JAK Intimidator Kit. We’ve also updated the SMG build to include some more recent MW3 attachments.

Pros And Cons

Since the Renetti is already a fairly accurate pistol, the best way to upgrade it as a one-handed weapon is throughstealth and fastdraw attachments.TheRenetti Wood Grain Gripallows you to instantly equip this weapon, making it an excellent backup weapon for when you need to reload. As for stealth, we use theHMRES Mod Suppressorto stay off the radar while firing.

Weapon lethality is the next thing we upgrade, using theBruen Expresstrigger to improve the Renetti’s RPM, theMK2 Renetti Long Barrelto consistently two-burst at 20 meters, and the24 Round Magto make multikills easier to achieve.

All of these attachments make the Renetti a reliable two-burst at close and medium distances. As long as you aim centermass, you should be able to land two-burst kills from up to 20m away. All of this comes at the cost of recoil control, but the Renetti is so accurate out of the box that it’s hardly noticeable in multiplayer matches. This will impact the Renetti’s performance in Ground War and Warzone, however, sodon’t use this weapon at long range.

Field Upgrade

Trophy System or A.C.S.

A suppressed Renetti goes well with any stealthy loadout, preferably one using as many stealth perks as possible. TheEngineer Vestis ideal for this, as it grants you a second gear perk and double the Tactical uses per life.Covert Sneakerswill completely remove your character’s footstep audio to make flanking easier. Pair this withGhostto stay off enemy radar while moving. The second gear perk is up to you. For gloves, useMarksman Glovesto reduce incoming flinch while aiming your weapons, including the Renetti.

As for equipment, you’ll want to useany rifle with good accuracy and low damage falloff. Most assault rifles and battle rifles are ideal here. Anything that can kill enemies past 20m will work perfectly with the Renetti. For your Tactical, we recommendBattle Rage. This item will give you six seconds of infinite tactical sprint, tactical equipment resistance, and a slightly weaker version of Quick Fix. You get two of these per life, so be sure to use them.

For your Field Upgrade, we prefer theTrophy SystemandA.C.S.depending on the game type. The A.C.S. is perfect for capturing objectives, while the Trophy System counters enemy equipment in all modes, especially objective modes like Hardpoint.

The JAK Intimidator Kit turns the Renetti into asemi-auto pistol, sacrificing fire rate for raw damage. Unfortunately, you’re able to’t adjust the trigger on the Renetti with this kit installed, so it’s more or less inferior to the Cor-45. Regardless, this build aims to make the Renetti as reliable as possible through investments inrangeandswap speed.

Our main priority is to extend the weapon’s three-hit kill range. To do that, we use theSonic Suppressor, Renetti Long Barrel, and High Grain Rounds. We then use aWood Grain Gripto give the weapon a fastdraw animation, making it a reliable backup pistol for Multiplayer.

We suggest the same loadout as our stealth build. RunGhostto stay off the minimap,Covert Sneakersto muffle your foosteps, and your favorite equipment. The rest of the perks and vest are down to preference.

It turns out that the Renetti is secretly one of MW3’s best SMGs.Thanks to the Jak Ferocity Carbine Kit, you may turn the Renetti into a 855 RPM SMG that fits in your secondary slot.Accuracy and speed suffer greatly with this conversion kit, however, so we’ll need touse the rest of the Renetti’s attachment slotsto fix this. For that, we use theRavage-8 Stock and the Zehmn35 Compensator Flash Hiderto greatly reduce the weapon’s recoil.

Visual recoil is still an issue with the default iron sights, so we recommendusing your favorite optic. Finally, we use the50 Round Drumto buff the gun’s pitiful 15-round magazine. The smaller magazines have the same movement penalties as the drum mag, so you might as well use the largest one. Stick to medium range firefights, and you should have no issue landing multikills with this gun. Treat it as an SMG, not as a pistol.

We are recommending thesame loadout as the previous buildsince the carbine version covers similar bases. Bear in mind thatyou don’t have a suppressor, so you will appear on the minimap whenever you shoot. If you want to change this, you’re able to replace the muzzle flash attachment for your choice of silencer. The rest of the kit remains the same.

Covert Sneakers and Ghostmake it easy to flank targets, while theMarksman Glovesgive you an edge in duels by greatly reducing incoming flinch. UseBattle Rage of Stimsfor your Tactical, and use Field Upgrades like theTrophy SystemorA.C.S.for objective game types.
