The Pulemyot 762 is the first LMG players can use inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.It is quite accurate once you reduce its aim idle sway, but this weapon truly shows its true colors when you unlock Aftermarket Parts. With the JAK Annihilator Bullpup Kit, you can give this weapon the handling of an assault rifle with the lethality of a fast-firing battle rifle.
But as with all weapons in MW3, you’ll need to unlock these attachments first and integrate them into extensive weapon builds. Fortunately, we’ve found two excellent builds you may use for the Pulemyot that cover everything you’d want from an LMG, including a zero recoil build and an aggressive bullpup configuration.
Accuracy Pulemyot 762 Build
The Pulemyot already has minimal recoil, but it does suffer from rather extreme aiming stability issues. This build focuses on buffing the weapon’s aiming stability, firing stability, and recoil controlto make this weapon have virtually no recoil. It’s much slower than your typical primary—having a lengthy ADS time of 475ms and a slow sprint to fire delay of 314ms—butthis build has no recoil.
Firing aim stability is mostly taken care of through theDemo TL20 Recoil Grip, making your shots land right next to one another. This does come at the cost of aiming stability, something we improve through theReckoning-8 Heavy BarrelandBruen Heavy Support Grip. Both attachments make this weapon have zero recoil at all ranges.Use an optic and suppressor to complete the build.
Loadout Recommendations
A bulky LMG is a poor choice for an aggressive build, so this loadout focuses more on mid-range dueling. TheEngineer Vestoffers an additional gear slot and greatly increases your Field Upgrade charge rate, allowing you to useDead Silenceor your favorite Field Upgrade more often.
Since this weapon is suppressed, you should useGhostto hide from enemy radar, making it much harder for enemies to find your location.Mag Holsteris also worth using since this weapon has a lengthy reload animation. TheStalker Bootswill buff the weapon’s poor strafe speed to make duels a little easier, andMarksman Gloveswill help mitigate incoming flinch.
Tac Stance Pulemyot 762 Build
The bullpup conversion for the Pulemyot converts this LMG into an AR/LMG hybrid, featuring far better handling stats and a faster RPM. It loses out on range and overall accuracy, but you may bypass these nerfs bybuilding for Tac Stance.A complete build will limit your maximum spread to 0.8 degrees, which is small enough to consistently hit targets from 20-30 meters away, and you get to benefit from far better strafe speeds.
Start by equipping theJAK Annihilator Bullpup Conversion Kit.This will turn the Pulemyot into a bullpup weapon with far better handling stats. For the Tac Stance spread, we’ll be using every slot to lower this spread angle. Those attachments include theRubber Recoil Pad, Bruen Warrior Grip, S-37 DL Breacher Device L, and the STOVL DR Laser Box.
All five attachments make this build incredibly nimble, especially for an LMG. You will still have a fairly long ADS time of 390ms, but Tac Stance does reduce this somewhat. Sprint to fire delays are only 213ms on this build, so you can use this weapon far more aggressively than your typical LMG.
Since this LMG behaves closer to an AR than anything else, we recommend a more aggressive loadout to pair with this gun. TheInfantry Vestwill grant Running Sneakers for free and three perk slots. We useCovert Sneakersto muffle our foostep audio,Ghostto hide from the minimap while moving, andAssault Glovesto remove all ADS penalties from shooting while in the air.
While this gun might have great handling stats for an LMG, it’s still an LMG.Don’t tac sprint into gunfights, and try to pre-aim corners when possible to get the edge in a gunfight. Remember that your character has excellent strafe speed with this build, so don’t be afraid to weave in and out of cover during a gunfight.
