The Finalshas all sorts of gadgets and gizmos to choose from when heading into the arena. From grenades that deal damage to bombs that make you disappear into thin air, there is a range of devices available for whatever playstyle you prefer.

Since you only get three slots for gadgets, it can be difficult to decide which ones to choose. You can mix and match to create lots of different tactics. Whether it be a defensive loadout for keeping the objective safe as long as you can, or something more aggressive for when you want to head straight into a fight. Whatever your style, there are some powerful gadgets to take with you.

The Finals Goo Grenade Inspect Screen

Great use for cover against enemies.

Cons

You can’t tell which way the wall will form. The wall also breaks easily on impact.

The goo grenade can be used for lots of different things, which is what makes it so great. Throwing it will create a wall of goo that can be used to block off rooms or create a temporary platform. The only downside to the goo grenade is that you can’t tell which way the wall will face. Sometimes you’ll throw it to make a wall, and it’ll end up facing the wrong direction.

The Finals Flashbang Inspect Screen

The grenade can still be a lifesaver. If you’re the last person on the team, the goo grenade can separate you from your enemies for safety or for an extra wall when reviving teammates.

Good way to blind your enemies for an attack.

Your friends need to be able to see too; stop throwing it in front of them.

The flashbang, naturally, is a great grenade to use when you’re heading into a fight. If there’s a team already at the objective, you may use the flashbang to start a fight and push in with an advantage. Throwing the flashbangs while on the move through debris can feel really satisfying, especially when you win the fight after.

The Finals Smoke Grenade Inspect Screen

One downside to the flashbang is that you may potentially flashbang yourself and your team simultaneously. As long as you call out the flashbang before throwing it, then it can’t possibly be your fault, right?

6Smoke Grenade

Pros

Create cover to push onto an objective or escape from combat.

You might end up running further into combat.

If you prefergames with a little more stealth, smoke grenades can be a great choice. There are lots of ways you may use the smoke grenade to your advantage in a game as unpredictable as The Finals.

If you’re heading into a fight, the smoke grenade can be a great cover for disguising your entrance, so you can take enemies off guard. If you’re running away or need to grab a teammate’s revive quickly, the smoke grenade can keep you hidden nicely.

The Finals Vanishing Bomb Inspect Screen

5Vanishing Bomb

Quick and easy to use when you’re in a panic. It can make teammates invisible, too.

Doing any action will stop the invisibility. It also has a short time period.

The Finals Stun Gun Inspect Screen

Like the smoke grenade, the vanishing bomb can obscure you from sight in your time of need. The bomb is exclusive to light players, unlike some other gadgets. For light players, you can use the vanishing bomb quickly and effectively if you need to get away.

Throwing the bomb at any surface near you will cover you and nearby teammates in a shroud of purple, rendering you invisible. Shooting, picking something up, or using an ability or gadget will cut the invisibility time short, so be careful what you’re doing when using it.

The Finals Glitch Grenade Inspect Screen

Slow down enemies to attack or get away.

It isn’t great if you’re against several enemies or at a distance.

The Finals Pyro Grenade Inspect Screen

The stun gun is a surprisingly effective piece of kit. By shooting an enemy with it, you’ll hinder their movements, making them slow and vulnerable. It can be great if you want to stop an enemy from getting a revive or when they’re taking an objective.

The gun can only target one person at a time, so it’s not very effective if you’re running on a battlefield with every team there. When you’re on your own, though, it can turn the tide of a fight if used right.

The Finals Breach Charge Inspect Screen

Disrupts enemy actions, gadgets, and HUDs.

The timer is short. You may not use it if enemies don’t use gadgets like turrets or a healing beam.

Turrets, motion sensors, and cameras are a big deal in The Finals. They give teams advantages in fights, like tracking enemies or protecting objective points. If you’ve ever wanted toplay a cool hacker, this is the item to use. It’s a useful tool that renders those useless and allows you to attack.

Throwing the glitch grenade will not only disable other gadgets and specialisations but can also distort enemy screens and leave them open to attack. you may use glitch grenades to break an enemy’s defence if they’ve set up around an objective, or to cut off and slow down enemies that are running away.

2Pyro Grenade

Set enemies on fire. Protect and defend objective points. You can also block entry points.

Your friends don’t like being set on fire.

Pryo grenades are fire grenades that explode into an area of fire on impact. The grenades are basic damage grenades that can be used aggressively and defensively. Enemies that walk through or get hit by the pyro grenade will take tick damage and lose health over a short period.

You can use the pyro grenade to block doorways or set objectives on fire to stop enemies from stealing. You can also use them when enemies are getting a revive or for larger enemies that may have shields or other forms of protection.

1Breach Charges

It can destroy almost any surface that’s in the way. It can be used to defend objectives or create an opening to attack enemies.

You can potentially bring down an entire building and destroy your own defences.

Breach charges are one of the most powerful and fun gadgets to use in The Finals. Throwing a breach charge will attach it to a surface and activating it will create an explosion, damaging enemies and destroying the surface.

You can use breach charges to break into rooms quickly that enemies may have barricaded. One of the funniest things to do is to break the floor beneath an enemy. You can make them, and the objective, fall through the floor and take them by surprise. Another potential is attaching the breach charge to another object which you can then throw at another player. They’ll never expect an exploding plant heading their way, will they?

When you capture an objective, place a breach charge next to it. Once an enemy gets close or starts to steal it, detonate the charge to disrupt them.
