Summary
Though Ground might not sound like the most exciting type for a Pal to have, it’s quite a powerful one! Ground Pals aren’t as rare asDragon Palsor the like inPalworld, but when you find Ground Pals you know you have a strong one on your hands.
Ground Pals are often good for exploration and fighting, as they have great attacks, but also make for useful base friends as they are often great at gathering tough resources. There are a bunch of ground Pals that you’re able to find throughout the game, though some will be more useful to you then others, depending on what you want them for!
8Gumoss
An Adorable Ground Buddy
Gumoss is an easy-to-catch Ground and Grass-type Pal that looks very funny. They’ve got skills in planting, but if you make Gumoss your partner, they can improve your efficiency of cutting down trees yourself.
As you level up your Gumoss, you will unlock a bunch of different Grass and Ground powers, which makes them fantastic to have as a fighting buddy. They also have a lot of health and put up with a lot of attacks before they die. Gumoss is a sort of fan favorite due to their adorable nature too.
7Dumud
Big Ground Whale
Dumud is quite a large, water-looking Ground type. You can find Dumud in the southeast of the Ice Wind Island teleport or, if you are lucky, inside cages at Syndicate Bases. They aren’t super challenging to fight, but will defend themselves.
When Dumud is in your team, they will increase all of the attack powers for any other Ground Pals you have, which can be very valuable when creating a Ground-based team. At camp, they have two skills in mining, and one in water and transport. When out and about with Dumud, you can easily throw them out to a rock and allow them to do a bit of extra mining for you.
6Rushroar
You Can Ride This One
Rushroar is another easy-to-find Ground Pal, but this one will pick a fight with you before you even want to start a fight. They are aggressive, but if you can capture one, they have a lot of uses.
Rushroar have a skill in mining, and when you mount and ride them around, you may increase your efficiency at destroying boulders. Their attacks from level 22 and above are really powerful, allowing you to be mounted while you take on enemies and destroy them. Getting to level 22 isn’t challenging either, as you can get a Rushroar quite early on. They are a great Pal to have in your party.
5Robinquill Terra
Human-Like But Packs A Punch
Robinquill Terra are a bit more challenging to find out in the world. This is the Ground element version of Robinquill, which can be found in the Hot Island. This Pal has a lot of skills that make them useful around your base; two in gathering, transport and handiwork, as well as one in lumbering and medicine production.
Not only is Robinquill Terra good at being a base Pal, they also have a pretty powerful Partner Skill. When fighting together, you will deal more damage to the weak points of the enemies you are fighting. Robinquill Terra has a good amount of health too, keeping themselves alive.
4Eikthyrdeer Terra
Ground Deer With Golden Horns
Eikthyrdeer Terra is the Ground version of Eikthyrdeer. They are far more challenging to catch than their look-a-likes, due to the level that they spawn in. you’re able to find Eikthyrdeer Terra in the No. 1 Wildlife Sanctuary, to the start of the beginner island.
Once you have caught an Eikthyrdeer Terra, you may create a mount to be able to ride them. When mounted, they can perform a double jump and increase your efficiency of cutting trees. This Pal also has quite a few high-level Ground attacks, making them quite the fighter in your party.
3Digtoise
A Turtle Who Can Mine
Digtoise is a large, spiky turtle that is found within most of the desert regions in Palworld. They work well asa mining specialist, as they have three skill points in mining and none in anything else. They won’t get distracted.
When in your party, Digtoise can perform a skill called Shell Spin that follows you around spinning. This not only does damage but can mine ores for you if you are around a bunch of resources. This Pal is particularly useful in a base for mining.
2Hangyu
Glide Around With Them
Hangyu is a Ground Pal that can also sort of fly, which is unique in a Ground Pal for obvious reasons. You can use the gloves to glide around with Hangyu once you have one in your party, helping you get around safetly when leaving cliff edges.
Hangyu has two points in transporting, one in handiwork and one in gathering, which are useful for the base and all complement each other. You can most easily find Hangyu in the Deep Sand Dunes area, which is near the Sealed Realm of the Winged Tyrant. It’s well worth having one in your party, even if it’s just for how unique they are.
1Anubis
A Ground Pal God
Anubis is an aggressive boss Pal, that needs to be fought in a boss battle before you are able to catch one. They are quite the challenge when it comes to actually defeating them, butare well worth the fight.
Anubis has four skills in handiwork, three in mining, and two in transport, making them a very good Pal to have around the base. They are also worth having in your party, as they apply Ground damage to all of your attacks, and can dodge attacks being thrown at them when fighting. This makes for a very powerful combination to have in your own battles.
