Yu-Gi-Oh!’scelebrations continue with its25th AnniversaryRarity Collection Booster Box. Each pack contains five cards, made up of two Super Rares, one Secret, which has a one-in-four chance to be upgraded to a Platinum Secret Rare or Quarter Century Secret Rare, and two Ultra Rares, which also have a chance of coming in two new rarities.
The main selling point, however, is the much-needed reprints of some of the best cards in the TCG, all of which come in seven different rarities. So, unless you want the higher rarity cards, the Rarity Collection enables you to add some of these cards to your decks at a fraction of the cost!

Its effect allows you to negate one of your opponent’s monster’s effects during their turn. By utlising this card properly, you can not only save your precious cards that you need on the field for your next turn, but also stop your opponent from dominating the duel by combo summoning their stronger monsters.

The 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection is filled with reprints of previously expensive or hard-to-pull cards. Lightning Storm was one of these due to its incredible effects that can rescue you from a sticky situation.
While you have no face-up cards on the field, it can act as both a Mirror Force or a Harpie’s Feather Duster. Perfect for eliminating your opponent’s field of attacking monsters or their hidden defense of Spells and Trap cards. Either effect used will even out the game and put yourself on the front foot to counter and win the duel.

Forbidden Droplet is considered a deck breaker and is a card that will stop your opponent from performing one-turn wins. It does this by negating your opponent’s monster effects while also halving their ATK.
Doing this comes at the cost of discarding cards from your hand or field, and you will be better protected should you discard Spells, Traps, and Monsters as this will stop your opponent from countering this card’s activation. Playing this card does sometimes come at a cost to your own strategy, but there’s no denying it could save you the duel.

If there’s any Synchro card you need for your deck, it’s Baronne De Fleur. With a significant price slash due to being reprinted in this set, it’s now no longerpractically impossible to ownthisstaple card.
Baronne does a lot to benefit you in a duel, including negating effects, destroying cards, and being able to Special Summon Level Nine or lower monsters from your Graveyard once every turn. Also, with 3,000 ATK you can feel reassured knowing the card can hold its own on the field against some of the best cards.

Or if you choose to shuffle a card into their deck from their hand, you could take away a crucial part of their strategy and set them back a couple of turns.

You’re also able to play a playset of this card, which in turn could allow you to search through the next 15 cards in your deck. This can be upped to a maximum of 18, should you have a way to recover your banished extra deck monsters.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring is the best card in the set, as it continues to be a coveted card in the TCG. As one of the strongest hand traps in the game, simply its presence in your hand can cause your opponent to think twice before executing certain plays.
Preventing your opponent from summoning monsters will always be beneficial in Yu-Gi-Oh!, especially in the era of archetypes that can endlessly summon each other to field their most powerful unit in one turn.
