Bukkit plugins are magical in a way, since they allow aMinecraftserver to have a customized, almost modded feel, without requiring players to download any client-side mods themselves. While some plugins have been around for a decade or more, there are some that are good enough to stand the test of time.
If you’re looking to take your server to the next level, and maybe even impress your friends with some great, quality of life, progression, and terrain related features, you’ve arrived at the right webpage.

All plugins are compatible with Minecraft Java Edition, versions 1.20 and above.

While the vanilla enchanting system is fine, the progression can be slow, and there are a lot of external investments, like mob farms andmanipulating villager trades to your advantage, that are usually required to get the exact enchantments you’re looking for.

With UberEnchant, you’ll be able to enchant whatever you want with vanilla or custom buffs, even on nontraditional items like foods or blocks, all the way to absurd levels; we’re talking level 10,000 and up if you want to get that serious about it.

Spawner blocks are interesting, and can be either very useful for mob farming, or a nuisance that you seek to instantly disable with torches or blocks. The only feature missing, though, is that the vanilla game doesn’t let you mine and obtain them, even if you have a Silk Touch pickaxe.
With the SpawnerSilk plugin, you’ll not only be able to obtain spawner blocks in survival with Silk Touch, but you’ll also be able to customize spawner blocks, such as their spawn range and frequency, how many entities they spawn at once, or their chance to drop after being mined.

Unless you’re playing on creative mode or peaceful difficulty, even the best players die in survival at some point or another. This doesn’t always end up being a problem, but if you die far from your spawn point, it’s stressful rushing to your items, since they eventually despawn.
With the DeadChest plugin, any player on your server that dies will have their entire inventory stored in a chest at their point of death. While the plugin has a customizable timer for despawning the items, you can set it to infinite if you’d like to take your time.

If you’re a Minecraft veteran, you probably recognize this plugin, or something that is functionally the same. Ultimately, the Tree Capitator plugin allows you to break a single block on a tree, and have that entire tree disintegrate, leaving behind every wood block it was made of.
While it’s up to you whether you think this plugin is fair or suitable for your server and its needs or goals, you have to admit, this is a major quality-of-life feature that can save you a lot of time that’d otherwise be spent on chopping trees, block by block.

If you want to give your server that customized feel, you can’t go wrong with the ItemJoin plugin, which allows you to give players custom items and inventory setups for when they initially join, respawn, switch worlds, or whatever use-case you end up needing it for.
ItemJoin can get really deep in terms of functionalities and applications, so you should check the plugin page for yourself, but some features that might whet your appetite include:

The WorldEdit plugin is a staple for any serious block architect with the goal of building large, magnificent structures, or creating the perfect spawn area for your players. Hopefully, this plugin was used for thatmassive, 1,000 by 1,000 block maze that fans spent three years building.

If you need a way to edit terrain or spawn blocks in specific shapes on a large scale, in-game, then you need to get this plugin. Plus, there are plenty of tutorials on YouTube that can get you familiar with the basics in a half hour or less.

With all the leather that drops from cows and other sources, you’d think Microsoft would’ve granted the greenlight on a craftable backpack by now for the ultimate form of mobile item storage and transport. Alas, you’ll have to stick with shulker boxes and minecarts for now.
That is, unless you have the Minepacks plugin. While this plugin won’t give you a viewable or wearable backpack, it does give you the functionality of one, which you may access with commands, and customize to have different sizes, or be accessible only by specific players or ranks.

While this kind of plugin isn’t always needed, especially if you have a small server full of friends you trust, it doesn’t hurt to have the Grief Prevention plugin as a best practice, or if you intend on inviting strangers or acquaintances to your server.
To be brief, this plugin allows players to create land claims, specific chunks of land that a player declares as their own through commands or plugin-related tools, to keep their structures, stored items, livestock, crops, and pretty much every valuable thing you can think of, protected.
