The COR-45 is the first pistol you will become familiar with inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. While it is the standard pistol present loadouts, it certainly should not be overlooked. Running with a pistol will come with its challenges, as it can easily be overpowered by other weapons, but this small gun can be a force to be reckoned with when placed in the right hands.

The base COR-45’s biggest strength is its accuracy. Even without attachments, it has very little recoil. You can take advantage of this and use your five attachment slots to build up the gun’s damage output, range, and speed.

COR-45 Build

Because the COR-45 is alreadyaccurate on its own, this build will not be utilizing any attachment slots to improve recoil, gun kick, or spread. Instead, yourprimary focusesshould be making theshotsyou take aspowerful as possible.

Overwhelming your opponents with damage before they can take their own shots will be key to winning face-to-face gun fights.

When it comes to choosing a barrel, you will have todecide between mobility and higher damage. While most of this class is focused on the damage you are inflicting, the Swiftshot Light Barrelprevents the mobility lossthat comes with the increased damage of the Pyre-9 Heavy Long Barrel.

Having the ability tosnap into your ADSat the drop of a hat has the potential to give you amajor leg upon opponents, despite the slight damage loss.

The recommended optic is one of theAftermarket Partsthat takes a bit extra to unlock. This two-in-one optic, however, is worth the additional effort. Not only will you have a clean sight to pinpoint your shots, but the Intlas optic comes with a built in laser and enhances your ADS speed.

Loadout Recommendations

Running around the map with a pistol is going to require quite a bit ofmobility. The rest of your loadout canmake up for any speed lostin the gunsmith.

Gear: Tac Mask

Using the engineer vest is going to get you a lot more at the loss of one tactical equipment. This gives you the opportunity toboost your reload speedwith the Mag Holster and stillequip another piece of gearsuch as a Tac Mask.

The Commando Glovescombine wellwith the Mag Holster because they allow you toreloadat the Mag Holster’sfaster speed while also sprinting. Dodge bullets and duck around corners while also making sure your gun is ready to go.
