The infamous Bruen LMG from MW2019 is back inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, complete with a new suite of attachment options. This weapon became a popular weapon in Warzone for its great mix of mobility and damage.

While this weapon might not be quite so mobile when initially unlocked, its unique 60 Round Mag attachment and various attachment options can effectively turn the Bruen into an assault rifle. This guide will showcase two builds for the Bruen that make this LMG the perfect long-range weapon or a fun close-range dueling weapon for players who are skilled at managing recoil.

The JAK Shadow Titan Kit turns this weapon into a suppressed LMG that has mobility stats that resemble an assault rifle, making it the perfect weapon for more aggressive playstyles. We’ve updated this guide to include a build for this new conversion kit, covering everything from ideal attachments to perk combinations.

Accuracy Bruen MK9 Build

LMGs rarely have the attachment combinations necessary to make them as snappy as assault rifles, but you can easily make LMGs powerful long-range options withrecoil control and firing stability attachments.The Bruen MK9 is no different. This build turns this LMG into an accurate long-range weapon with minimal tradeoffs.

The60 Round Magis a must for all Bruen builds, as it halves your reload time and greatly lowers your ADS time with only a minor hit to your magazine capacity. For recoil, theWrathguard Compensatoris excellent since it increases your firing stability while cutting down on the Bruen’s diagonal recoil pattern. With theKimaru RYN-03 Vertical Gripand the1mw Artemis Laser, this weapon experiences no recoil.

Loadout Recommendations

This loadout allows you to control key locations with a hard-hitting LMG without hurting your close-quarters capabilities. We recommend theDemolition Vestto gain a second Lethal use and the ability to recharge Lethals and Tacticals.Stimswill let you instantly heal after a gunfight whileBreacher Dronesact as a powerful long-range explosive. If you don’t like Breacher Drones, use your favorite Lethal in its place.

Your LMG is ill-suited for close-quarters combat, so we’ll beusing theRenettiwith its carbine conversion kitto deal with close targets. Paired with theQuick-Grip Glovesfor instant weapon swaps, you should have no issue winning any engagement. UseStalker Bootsto strafe in and out of cover faster, and equipEODto clamp explosive damage. TheTrophy Systemwill also help counter enemy equipment.

JAK Shadow Bruen MK9 Build

This build uses theJAK Shadow Titan Kitto convert the Bruen MK9 into an aggressive stealth LMG, featuring much faster ADS and sprint-to-fire stats. It functions closer to an assault rifle than a proper LMG with this conversion kit. Throw on some mobility attachments, and this weapon will dominate most mid-range gunfights.

We use theSTIP-40 Gripand theFTAC SP-10 Angled Gripto keep the recoil as vertical as possible. From there, we use theTour-56 Stockto buff the weapon’s mobility. The final attachment slot has to be either a laser or optic. We use theNydar Model 2023optic, but feel free to use any optic you like.

A suppressed weapon should be used with a stealth loadout. TheAssassin’s Vestwill keep you off the radar at all times, even if you aren’t moving. This frees up the gear slot for something else, preferablyMag HolsterorTac Mask.We then useCovert Sneakersto muffle our footstep audio andAssault Glovesto remove most midair accuracy penalties.

Your choice of equipment is mostly down to preference. If you play aggressively, runStimsto quickly recover your HP after a gunfight. You might also enjoyThrowing Knivesin your Lethal slot. It gives you a one-hit kill melee attack in core Multiplayer.
