Quick Links
Ever since the start ofHonkai: Star Rail, there has been a proper lack of decent Physical characters since you’d either have to get lucky enough to summon Clara or make do with Sushang. However, this changed with the release of Argenti in the Version 1.5 update since he’s a five-star Physical DPS.
He follows the path of Erudition and introduced himself as one of the Knights of Beauty. He’s also one of the few Erudition characters that you’d want to use in endgame content, especially if you know that you’ll be facing three or more enemies at the same time.

Updated June 19, 2025:We added a video version of this guide to help you get physical with this physical DPS character.
Best Argenti Relics And Planar Ornaments
Youdon’t have many choiceswhen it comes to building Relics and Planar Ornaments for Argenti, but here’s what suits him the best:
Relics
Champion of Streetwise Boxing
Much like other Physical DPS characters in the game, this set is the best in slot for Argenti asit gives him both a Physical DMG Bonus and ATK Percent. you’re able to get up to 25 percent ATK by hitting enemies or getting attacked.
Thief of Shooting Meteor
If you’re still new to the game and don’t have all the Relics unlocked, you can use this beginner set to get a bit ofBreak Effect and Energy on Argenti whenever he breaks an enemy’s Weaknessbar.
Planar Ornaments
Inert Salsotto
Talking about Planar Ornaments, Inert Salsotto suits Argenti the most since it gives him anextra 15 percent Ultimate DMG if your Crit Rate is over 50 percent. Though the follow-up part is useless to him.
Sprightly Vonwacq
Argenti requires ahigh amount of Energy to deal the most DMG, and the Energy Regeneration and movement advance from this set can help you do that.
Space Sealing Station
This is a decent beginner Ornament set for Argenti as itgives him up to 24 percent ATK if you have 120 SPD or more. you’re able to also replace it with Firmament Frontline: Glamoth if you’re using him with Hanya or Asta.
While there might not be Relics or Planar Ornament sets that completely suit Argenti yet, you can still havecertain main stats on these gear pieces to make him great:

Link Rope
ATK Percent / Energy Regeneration Rate
You should only have an Energy Regeneration Rate Rope on Argenti ifyou’re not using him with Tingyun or Huohuo.
However, these two units are sort of necessary to make him good.

As for the sub-stat, you can look for as muchCrit Rate, Crit DMG, ATK Percent, and SPDas possible.
Best Argenti Light Cones
Here are the best Erudition Light Cones that you can use on Argenti while building him:
An Instant Before A Gaze
Argenti’s signature Light Cone is, of course, the best in slot for him. He gets a whopping 36 percent Crit DMG and abunch more DMG based on his Energy with it. However, this is quite a niche Light Cone and might not be useful with other characters.
Before Dawn
This is Jing Yuan’s Light Cone, and it gives thesame amount of Crit DMG to Argenti as his signature Cone. It also gives a direct 18 percent DMG boost to his Skill and Ultimate, where most of his DMG comes from.
Night on the Milky Way
You can buy this Light Cone in the Starlight shop if you save enough Starlight, and itgives you extra ATK based on the number of enemies on the field. You also gain a DMG boost upon triggering Weakness Break, which is easy with him.
Today Is Another Peaceful Day
This is the best four-star Light Cone for Argenti, but it isunfortunately locked behind the premium tier of the Battle Pass. It has the same second effect as his signature Cone that gives you extra DMG based on your Max Energy.
Make the World Clamor
This Light Cone gives you a bit of Energy at the start of the battle, which stacks with Argenti’s Technique, andalso increases your Ultimate DMG massively.
Data Bank
Finally, you’re able to use this Light Cone during the early game to get astraight 56 percent boost to your Ultimate DMG, which is quite staggering.
Argenti Trace Priority
When you start building a character in Honkai: Star Rail, one of themost time-consuming and bothersome task is upgrading their Traces. There’s a ton of RNG involved in the materials you get, but even with some good luck, it takes a lot of power to upgrade a character’s Traces fully. This is especially true for Argenti since you need to upgrade all his abilities.
However, it’s important to understand what takes priority unless you pre-farmed for him fully. The first thing you’d want to focus on him is theUltimate since that’s at least 80 percent of his overall DMG. After that, you can upgrade his Talent followed by the Skill, and finally the Basic Attack.
You also have to unlock all his Bonus Abilitieswhenever you reach the required level, but Generosity is the most important.
This ability gives you some extraEnergy whenever a new enemy enters battle, which helps with Argenti’s high Energy requirement.
