Additional Content
Kill The Justice League got its very own State Of Play last year, butthe reaction to that presentation resulted in a nine-month delayto its release. It’s still unclear what exactly Rocksteady has changed about the game in that time. It certainly wasn’t enough of a delay to remove the live service elements as that would likely require starting the game over. The studio is still promising an immersive story with the bulk of its 20-minute showcase focused on that rather than battle passes and online play, and a lot of post-launch content starting with the addition of The Joker. How does that happen in a universe where he died a while ago? I guess we’ll find out together.
The Deluxe Edition of Kill The Justice League costs quite a bit more, but you get quite a bit more for that additional $30. More outfits, other in-game goodies, and best of all, the chance to play the game three days earlier than everyone else.

It’s still worth being hopeful for Kill The Justice League even if you aren’t interested in taking the action online and grinding a battle pass for a new King Shark hat. Let’s not forget that this game comes from the same studio that brought us the Batman Arkham trilogy, lauded as some of the best games ever made. If its story, gameplay, and setting are in the same league as the Arkham games, Suicide Squad could be the surprise hit of 2024.
