Black Friday weekend might still be more than two weeks away, but the sales have already begun. A big holiday season for thePlayStationand thePS5has already begun following the launch ofMarvel’s Spider-Man 2. Later this week the slimmer version of the console goes on sale, and next week thePlayStation Portalwill launch. Knowing more people than ever will become PS5 owners over the next two months, PlayStation has cut the price of the console’s accessories across multiple retailers.
TheDualSense, which is usually at least $70 depending on the color you pick, is down to $50 at Best Buy, Amazon, and Walmart. Not all color options have had their price reduced, so beware when adding the controllers to your cart and double-check you’ve actually picked up a reduced DualSense before you check out. The controllers in PlayStation’s new Deep Earth collection, for example, are still $74.99.

The Walmart price reduction hadn’t gone live at the time of publication but will do at some point today (November 8), so hold off on buying a DualSense from Walmart until the sale price kicks in.
A selection of PS5 covers have had their prices cut today too, but only if you buy them through PlayStation Direct, at least for the time being. Down from $55 to $45, some of the options in the sale include Nova Pink, Starlight Blue, and Cosmic Red. Again, not all of the covers at PlayStation Direct are in the sale. The three options in the Deep Earth collection and the Midnight Black covers are still full price.

PlayStation 5 DualSense Wireless Controller
There’s a lot of tech in the PS5’s DualSense which means they usually cost a lot of money. Any time you can find one for less should be an opportunity you pounce on, if possible.
The chance to give your PS5 a makeover, and grab a DualSense that matches its new look, for less is obviously good news. There is still a little bit of bad news hanging over the PS5 console cover scene, though. The highly sought-after Spider-Man cover is still sold out everywhere. Stock popped up sporadically ahead of the sequel’s launch last month, but now all avenues have completely dried up.
PS5 Console Covers
PS5 has opted to sell covers rather than entirely new versions of its console for anyone who wants to update their system’s look. Easy to remove and replace, and quite a few of them are on sale right now.
There’s been no indication of how long the above products will remain on sale. Even if the price reduction doesn’t last until Black Friday, there will almost definitely be more PlayStation products on sale throughout the rest of the month. You can keep an eye on the very best PlayStation products on sale across multiple retailers bychecking our PlayStation Black Friday hubfrom now until the big weekend starting on November 24.
