Pokemondidn’t get any new games in 2023 and as it stands it won’t get any in 2024 either. The Pokemon video game landscape will likely change on Pokemon Day next month, but for now,Scarlet & Violetare the newest installments in the series and will be for a while. Although there were no new Pokemon games, Scarlet & Violet did get DLC, and now physical copies of those titles bundled with the DLC are available for just $89, their lowest price yet.
Having soldmore than ten million copies of Scarlet & Violet in the games' first three days,Nintendoknows damn well it doesn’t need to reduce the price despite their misgivings. The same goes for The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC. Until now, the bundles, both physical and digital, that combine Scarlet or Violet with the DLC cost the same as buying the game and additional content separately. However, the physical bundles are now on sale, finally making it cheaper to buy the games bundled with the DLC.

Usually $94.99 (the games are $59.99 each and the DLC is $34.99), the physical copies of the bundles are available at Amazon and Walmart through the links below for just $89. No, that’s not the biggest saving in the world, but it is one worth writing home about, or at least taking advantage of if you’ve been holding out on playing through the latest Pokemon games.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
WHERE TO PLAY
Taking trainers to the region of Paldea, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet add 107 new Pokemon for you to register to your Pokedex, as well as the brand-new Terastalization system.
Nintendo very rarely reduces the prices of its most popular games, and even though Pokemon doesn’t fall as strictly under that umbrella as the likes of Mario and Zelda because its games release far more frequently like I said, no new Pokemon games have bumped Scarlet & Violet down the pecking order yet. If you want to experience everything Paldea has to offer, and you want to do it for as little as possible, the $89 deal is probably the best one you’re going to find for quite a while.
Even though the Pokemon video game scene seems pretty barren right now, the Pokemon TCG equivalent does not.The Paldea Adventure chest launches soon, and there are still pre-orders out there if you’re lucky enough to stumble upon one.The Paldean Fates expansion for the TCG will also be released very soon, pre-orders for which are significantly harder to find than they are for the Adventure chest.
