Summary
Immortalityis a video game that flips the way games work on its head. Made up entirely of live-action footage from three “lost movies”, Immortality launched onXboxandPC, came toAndroidandiOS, but until now,PlayStationowners have had to sit and wait, hoping it might one day come toPS5. Well, today is that day. Actually, January 23 was that day. Either way, Immortality is now available on PS5, and Half Mermaid Productions has marked the occasion by announcing a physical OST for the game you can pre-order now.
If you’re unfamiliar with Immortality, players are shown clips and backstage footage from a trilogy of movies starring fictional character Marissa Marcel, played by Manon Gage. The movies were never released, and afterwards, Marcel went missing. It’s up to you to trawl through the footage in an attempt to figure out what happened to her. Freeze the footage and click on items and people of interest, and hopefully, you will start to unravel the mystery.

You can grab Immortality on PS5 right now through the link to the PlayStation Store in the box below, and if you really like it - or you’ve already played it on another platform and you already know you love it - you can pre-order the soundtrack. To reflect the eras in which each of Immortality’s movies was filmed, each of their soundtracks is available on a different medium. The first movie’s OST is exclusively available on vinyl, the sequel’s OST is on cassette, and the third film in the trilogy, which was made in 1999, is on CD.

WHERE TO PLAY
Directed by Sam Barlow, Immortality is an interactive game that uses film footage to tell the story of Marissa Marcel, a model and actress who has mysteriously disappeared. It’s your job to find out what happened to her.
If you want to listen to the soundtrack for the entire game, and you have the means to play all three formats, then you can buy the Complete Collection for less than it would cost to buy each of them separately through Lost In Cult. If the soundtracks alone aren’t enough extra Immortality goodness for you, Lost In Cult is also selling what it has labeledImmortality’s Design Works. The standard edition includes a 600-page book containing the game’s entire script as well as an oral history of Immortality’s creation.

Immortality Sounds Across Time
The soundtracks from all three movies included in Immortality now have physical releases. However, each movie is only available on the era-appropriate medium. The first movie on vinyl, the second on cassette, and then the third on CD. Or you can buy the complete collection which includes all three.
There’s alsoa deluxe edition of the Design Workswhich includes items created to look like they existed in a world where Marcel’s movies were real. Ticket stubs, newspaper clippings, even signed photos. The prices for the soundtracks and Design Works are in pounds sterling on the Lost In Cult site, but they can be shipped outside the UK.
