Summary For many of us, the end-of-year holiday season is a time for seeing family. For others, it’s a time for getting drunk. For still others, it’s a time for getting drunk with your family and maybe getting into fights with them. Happens to the best of us, I’m not judging. This year, while I’m avoiding red wine and bottles of tequila until New Year’s Eve rolls around, this week has brought me many a friend’s desperate text admitting that they made some dubious alcohol-related choices the night before and now they’re stuck in bed, sipping water and praying for death....

Ever since diving into the world ofInvinciblethrough the animated series’ excellent first season in 2021, I, like many of you, have been eagerly waiting for the day that Mark’s epic struggle with balancing a secret identity, learning the superhero ropes, and going toe-to-toe with his tyrant father gets turned into a video game. Surprisingly, more than two years after the show first debuted and turned Omni-Man into the hottest name (and hottest ass) in recent supervillain history, we still don’t have that big adaptation....

The Last of Ushas found its Abby Anderson. Kaitlyn Dever will play Abby in the second season of theHBOshow, joining fellow cast members Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal. Dever is best known for her roles in shows like Dopesick and Unbelievable, as well as films including Booksmart and Dear Evan Hansen. This ends more than a year of speculation on who will play Abby, almost definitely the most important casting decision for the second season of The Last of Us....

These cursed books of Chaos would appear in obscure locations that were often hard to reach or at least required a bit of panicky platforming over large drops to find. They’ve re-appeared in Darktide and are just as fiddly to find since the maps are much more massive now and if you don’t know how the new Grimoire system works you’ll be left frustrated as it’s much harder to track them down now....
