PSA: Yesterday’sBaldur’s Gate 3update doesn’t fix the bug that’s deleting save files onXbox. Instead,Lariansays that it is working withMicrosoftto bring out another update that should address this, so in the meantime, your save files are not safe. Some players who thought that the recent update would fix the issue have been left disappointed, reporting further save erasures since trying to start their campaigns again. In the meantime, Xbox has offered suggestions on how players can keep their saved progress safe, and it involves keeping your Xbox powered at all times, even when it’s switched off....

I caved. Ibought Baldur’s Gate 3 for the second time. After getting to around the halfway point in my first playthrough, I started all over again onXbox. I just wanted to sit in the comfort of my sofa and play on my big telly, okay? You notice so much more on the second playthrough, and as such I’d recommend restarting the game as soon as right after the culmination of the first act....
