Ubisoft has always been a big culprit of this, offering fetch quests and icons on a checklist to tick off so that you had any reason at all to explore the areas its developers had so painstakingly crafted. Mortal Kombat 1’s addition of Quan Chi seemingly confirms that DLC characters won’t be getting any additional skins, as was the case for Omni-Man when he launched. Omni-Man’s arrival into Mortal Kombat 1 was generally a positive one that reignited some passion for the game and moved some of the conversation away from its more negative attributes,like the “predatory” Item Shopand lack of features.
