The second new job coming toFinal Fantasy 14as part of the Dawntrail expansion has been revealed. When the new update drops, we’ll be able to play as Pictomancers, a DPS class that performs magical-based, ranged attacks. As the name suggests, we will indeed attack with a huge paintbrush. Pictomancer will be an available job as soon as the Dawntrail update goes live this summer, although we still don’t have an exact release date for this....

While we know thatFinal Fantasy 16is getting DLC, you might want to hold your breath for a spin-off or sequel. Naoki Yoshida has already moved on, disbanding the development team as they look to the future. As reported byFamitsu(viamp1st), Yoshida isn’t completely ruling out the possibility of expanding on the world of Valisthea, but he’d much rather use the lessons he learned elsewhere. The development team for FF16 has been disbanded, except for the main DLC team, but at least we don’t imagine that we’ll create a sequel or spin-off to FF16....

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth’s developer, Naoki Hamaguchi, has confirmed that the game’s main story will take around 40 hours to beat, but that trying to complete all the side content will bump it up to more than 100 hours. As beloved as Final Fantasy 7 Remake was, one of the main complaints that players had about it was that there was a lack of interesting side content to do beyond the main game, which gave very little reason to return after reaching the credits....
