Update 07-06-2025: Our amended report, including WotC’s statement, follows. Magic: the Gatheringloses one of its artists, following allegations thatWizards of the Coastused AI-generated art in an ad campaign. The artist, Dave Rapoza, says that he’s “done working for Wizards of the Coast”, saying that the company “blatantly” went back on its pledge not to use AI art. Rapoza has worked with Wizards of the Coast since 2007, and since then, has worked on more than 60 cards according to theMTG website....

Players will need to fight over AI nodes and a unique Forge to gain control over a rogue AI. Take control of the on-site Forge, and your squad will be reinforced with synthetic soldiers that will overwhelm your foes. Beyond the new game mode, Dark Protocol features six new cosmetic rewards to earn, including weapon skins and a unique character skin for Sundance....

Diablo 4’s first major expansion has been unveiled: Vessel of Hatred. In a short teaser trailer atBlizzCon, it’s been revealed that Vessel of Hatred is aiming for a late 2024 release, with further details coming next year. The trailer doesn’t give away too many details, but it does tell us that we’re in for quite a bit of a wait for this debut expansion. We don’t even have a firm release date outside of this vague late 2024 release window, so we could be waiting a full year to get major additional content for Diablo 4, outside of smaller events....

Malenia is meant to beElden Ring’s toughest boss, but that hasn’t stopped players from cutting her down with ease in the most challenging of ways, whether that meansusing their goldfishorbusting a move on a dance mat. Two years on and people are still making Malenia look as difficult as a level one Magikarp. It’s a bit embarrassing, especially when you struggle with a Rivers of Blood and Mimic build. FutureAristocrat is rubbing another mountain of salt in the wound with their jazz run, making Malenia look like a washed-up has-been without hitting her once - all they needed was a trumpet and some bubbles....
