Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2players have been patiently awaiting the game’s first batch of DLC characters, with Mr Krabs, Zuko, Iroh, and Rocksteady already announced as the characters that will make up the first season pass. Fans were pretty disappointed abouthalf of the new additions being characters from Avatar: The Last Airbender, but there is a lot of excitement surrounding the upcoming addition of Mr Krabs.
That excitement grew even further earlier this week, as a new leak revealed Mr Krabs' entire moveset as well as all the Spongebob references that his attacks are based on. This leak comes from Twitter user Treydemarked, who has shared several pieces of artwork of the character, as well as numerous in-game screenshots, costume variants, and a quick look down the list of Mr Krabs' moves.
To start with, Treydemarked shows off the costume variants for Mr Krabs, which includes the tracksuit he wears while training Spongebob for the Fry Cook Games. He also has his Captain Tightwad costume, as well as a more generic purple suit with two top hots on each of his eyes that he wore in the episode Married to Money.
As for his moveset, there are a couple of references to the episode Clams, including the pose that Mr Krabs adopts when he’s on the lookout for the Clam that stole his one millionth dollar, as well as a move in which Mr Krabs does the floss with said dollar when he finds it again. It also looks like Mr Krabs can use his eyes to glide back onto the stage, and that there will also be a reference to his iconic tiny violin.
There are a bunch more references included, far too many to go into detail here, but it’s safe to say that Mr Krabs is just as fleshed out and detailed as all the other characters in the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 roster.
We don’t yet have a release date for any of the characters in the game’s first season pass, but Treydemarked does point out that the developers at Fair Play Labs do seem to be testing Mr Krabs at this moment in time. While it doesn’t confirm anything, it does at least suggest that Mr Krabs will be the first DLC character to release, with Zuko, Iroh, and Rocksteady coming at a later date.
