The Whispers in the Walls update forWarframeadded a new endgame activity for players to conquer. Known as Netracells, these hidden Entrati vaults house valuable rewards such as Archon Shards, Melee Arcanes, and Melee Adapters. If you’re looking to broaden your Archon Shard collection, this is a great place to start.
But opening these vaults won’t be easy. Each Netracell is guarded by some of Warframe’s toughest enemies, and players will have to play around crippling debuffs in the process. This guide will cover how Netracell modifiers work, what Keyglyphs are, how to complete a Netracell run, and we’ll briefly cover the rewards you can expect from completing this endgame activity.

Updated July 21, 2025, by Charles Burgar:The Netracell activity has seen some major reward changes with the Dante Unbound update. Uncommon and Rare Arcanes have been removed, and Archon Shard drop rates have been substantially increased. We’ve updated this guide with up-to-date drop tables for this activity, and we’ve added a paragraph that explains how Netracells are tied to the Deep Archimedea activity.
Netracell Difficulty Modifiers
Once you’ve completed the “Whispers in the Walls” quest, speak to Tagfer in the Sanctum Anatomica to queue for a Netracell run.Unlike most activities, Netracell runs include difficulty modifiers that limit revives, consumable usage, and enemy survivability. The exact modifiers are listed below:
190-210

Empowered Enemies
Enemies have +150% HP and Shields, increased by an additional 50% per added squad member.
Eximus units are more common.
Respawns
Self revives are disabled. Last Gasp reduces your bleedout timer by 2 seconds.
Your bleedout timer shortens after each revive, to a minimum of 5 seconds.

Consumables
Restore pads may only be used once every 3 minutes.
Summon consumables are disabled for the entire duration of the mission.
The activity is comparable to an Archon Hunt in terms of difficulty. You will have limited consumable uses, no self-revives, and will face much tougher enemies than usual. Most Necramech enemies are also armored, sobring a Warframe or weapon that can strip armor.Survivability is also crucial here. Any Warframe that can become invulnerable or has immense EHP is recommended.

You cannot play this mission on Steel Path difficulty.
Additionally, the start of every Netracell run will require your team to grabKeyglyphs. These function identically to Dragon Keys or the debuff cards seen in Dagath’s Exterminate mission.Your squad must carry four Keyglyphs before the mission can start.Squads can divide these debuffs between each teammate to make the mission slightly easier. Solo players must carry all four Keyglyphs.
Keyglyph debuffs vary wildly in terms of difficulty. Some will simply make targets explode when slain, while others can constantly drain Energy or remove your shields entirely. If you’re attempting this solo, we recommend reloading the Netracell mission until you get Keyglyph modifiers you’re able to handle; they reroll each time you load into the mission.

Recommended Warfarmes
Locate The Netracell
Once your squad has grabbed the four Keyglyphs, the mission will begin. The Netracell device is hidden somewhere in the facility. To find it, your team canhack three PCs marked on your HUDto find its exact location. It’s possible to find the Netracell without hacking these devices, but you’ll need to be quite thorough looking through the map.
The hacking minigame is a little different from other factions, but it’s fairly easy once you understand what’s happening.Your goal is to hold the jump input while avoiding any red characters. The characters you need are displayed near the middle of the screen. When the red symbols appear, simply let go of the jump input until they pass, then resume hacking. There’s no timer, so take your time.

Ciphers
you’re able to use hacking Ciphers to bypass the hacking minigame in this mission. The Auto Breach mod for the Parazon also works.
Eliminate Enemies To Lower Security Level
Now that you’ve found the Netracell, it’s time to lower the security level.Travel to the marker on your HUD and kill as many enemies as possible. You’ll need to defeat hundreds of enemies to complete this step, and these units are quite tough with unoptimized builds. Remember thatNecramechs are weak to Corrosive and Blast, while Murmur enemies are weak to Radiation.
Periodically during this step, a Netracell Drone will spawn and disrupt all progress. You musttravel to the marker on your HUD and look for a floating drone to destroy. They make an audible beeping noise and tend to float near walls. Break the drone, return to your original position, and continue to clear out the security forces. Once you’ve killed enough enemies, you’ll be able to visit the Netracell from earlier and claim your rewards.

Netracell Drop Tables
Opening the Netracell will reveal a vault filled with resources and a main reward chest.Once you loot this room, you must extract to unveil the reward you received. Each Netracell run can drop the following rewards:
17.5%
15%
10%
4.17%
Tauforged Crimson Archon Shard
Bear in mind thatNetracell vaults may only be looted five times per week. You may continue to play the activity afterward, but you will gain no additional rewards. The total chance of earning an Archon Shard is 65% per run. There is no drop protection in this activitylike there is for Archon Hunts.
If you’re aiming to farm the Legendary Arcanes, you may farmDeep Archimedea. This is an extremely difficult endgame activity you can start in the Sanctum Anatomica. Starting this activity requires you to void two Netracell clears, but the rewards are far greater. That is, if you can handle the added difficulty.
