It doesn’t take much to sendMass Effectfans into a tailspin. I’m new to the club having only played the troligy for the first time via the Legendary Edition and I’m already getting impatient to know more about what’s coming next. That’s whythree teasers stitched together that show almost nothinggot the Mass Effect community very excited on N7 Day. While whatever game that has been pulled from is still years away, a new statue celebrating Commander Shepard is here right now.
The teasers had most Mass Effect fans glued to social media throughout November 7, so you may have missed the collectible statue’s unveiling and its pre-orders going live. The 1/6th scale Shepard is 12 inches tall - not including the base on which she’s stood - and her design is based on the cover art forMass Effect 3. The statue is incredibly detailed, even showing signs of wear on Shepard’s armor. She will have been through the suicide mission by this point, so that makes a lot of sense.

Mass Effect: Commander Shepard 1/6 Scale Statue
Dark Horse’s Mass Effect Shepard statue shows the female version of the trilogy’s lead character, wiping blood from her face and wielding her omni-blade. The collectible is 1/6 scale and only 1,000 of them will ever be made.
Pre-orders are open now and you’ll want to decide whether you need this statue in your life or not sooner rather than later. Not only will Dark Horse only be making 1,000 of them (viaGameSpot) meaning they will be extremely limited, but for the next few days, the statue will be available for less. Retailing at $179.99 right now, the statue will go up to its regular price of $199.99 after November 13, providing there’s any stock left by that point.
As noted, the biggest news coming out of Mass Effect Day was a new teaser for whatever it is that’s coming next.BioWareconfirmed Mass Effect will continue a while ago, sharing a teaser that confirmed the return of Liara. There was a fear among some that the project might be scrapped earlier this year asBioWare made cuts to its Dragon Age: Dreadwolf team. Apparently not, but there’s still no indication of how far away a new Mass Effect game is.
BioWare has also confirmedthe destroy ending of Mass Effect 3 is canonvia concept art for the next game in the series.
Dark Horse is an industry leader in video game statues, and one of its most famous creations is currently on sale. The collectible creators turned Tub Geralt into a statuette you can have in your very own home, andit’s available on Amazon right now for its lowest price yet.
