Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealthisn’t set to launch until January 26, but it looks like someone has managed to get their hands on the game early. As a result, supposed screenshots andstory detailsthat might include huge spoilers are getting shared around online, with fans encouraged to be cautious when scrolling throughLike a Dragoncommunities.

We can’t say for sure where the leak originates right now, but we’ve already seen spoilers being shared on Twitter, alongside screenshots that appear to show someone playing the game far earlier than intended. The earliest source of the leak seems to be 4chan, with the individual sharing this material claiming to have already completed Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth two weeks ahead of launch.

The leak was quickly spotted by the Like a Dragon series subreddit, warning fans to be careful online. Indeed, it doesn’t take long to find comments from the player who appears to have already beaten the game, discussing it and sharing huge spoilers for the main story. It isn’t clear how they managed to get the game so early, but one user says it was a retail copy, so a store may have already sent out its stock.

Given how big some of these spoilers are, diehard fans will definitely want to limit their social media use until launch day. At the very least, most fans on other social media sites like Twitter and Reddit aren’t sharing some of the big ending spoilers, or are tagging them as spoilers if they do.

If you’ve already seen a spoiler though, there is the chance that this is all an elaborate hoax. Although given the screenshots being shared, that does seem quite unlikely. In any case, you’ll only have to wait two weeks to experience these supposed story beats in context, as they were intended to be discovered in the game.
