Kingdom Heartsfans think that Missing Link could be adding a new Lilo and Stitch world, as a green jungle area that appears in the latest trailer looks to be new.

After nearly a whole year without any new information on Missing Link,Kingdom Hearts fans finally had a decent meal this week with a brand-new trailer for the gamethat gave us our best look yet at how it’s shaping up. We got to see our customisable protagonist interacting with new characters, exploring Scala ad Caelum, and even taking part in battles using Disney characters, but one thing we didn’t see too much of was Disneyworlds.

The new trailer also revealed that Missing Link will get a closed beta this month, but only for 3,000 players and only if they live in the UK or Australia. If you match those strangely restrictive criteria,.

In fact, aside from the brief appearance of what appears to be the Kingdom of Corona in the first trailer for Missing Link, you’d be forgiven for thinking that it doesn’t have Disney worlds at all, especially considering one of the main gimmicks is roaming around a real-world map using your GPS. That isn’t the case, however, as the trailer briefly confirms that Missing Link is an “adventure featuring Disney worlds”.

Right after confirming that Disney worlds will feature in Missing Link in one way or another (and hopefully not just through the trophies you use in battle), a brief gameplay clip shows the protagonist fighting Heartless in a green jungle. Kingdom Hearts has seen many jungles in its time but,as pointed out by Twitter user and Kingdom Hearts researcher ligero_miguel, it’s unlike the jungles we’ve seen in the series before.

Although your mind might instantly jump to the Kingdom of Corona or The Caribbean from Kingdom Hearts 3,the palm trees and flowers aren’t the same as they were there, which makes it look like a new world. That unique greenery and bright colours has caused some fans, including ligero_miguel, to speculate that it’s a tease for Lilo and Stitch’s Hawaii to finally be in a Kingdom Hearts game.

If Missing Link does add Hawaii, it won’t be the first time that Lilo and Stitch has had a world in Kingdom Hearts, as it also had Deep Space in Birth by Sleep. It was the absolute worst, though, so it doesn’t count.

Other popular guesses include Peter Pan’s Neverland (which first debuted in Birth by Sleep), the jungle from, uh, The Jungle Book, and Motunui from Moana. There’s also a chance that it’s just a generic jungle world or some part of The Caribbean we haven’t seen yet, but hte purposefully brief glimpse of it in the trailer seems to imply that it’s something new.
