Since its creation, the tombstone perk has been a hot topic for debate throughout the community. The MWIII zombies mode takes tombstone back to its roots and gives you a chance to dig up lost loot…literally.

What Does Tombstone Do?

This time around, the tombstone perk acts as asafety net for your rucksackin the event that youdie before having a chance to exfil.

While the perkdoes not help you if you are revived, it is a powerful method of saving at least some of your items if you are less fortunate.

How To Use Tombstone

Aside fromconsuming the perk and dying, there isno manual actionthat you need to take to use tombstone andsave your rucksack items.

When you launch into your next game, a tombstone willautomatically be markedon your map. Travel here to collect your items.

If you die and are brought back to life, the tombstonewill notappear. Additionally, if you die with tombstone, come back to life, and then exfil, a tombstonewill notappear. You mustdie and leave the gamein order to spawn atombstone stash marker.
