One of the main missions in Act One ofWarhammer 40,000: Rogue Tradersees the Lord Captain visit the orbital station at Eurac V to recruit a new Navigator. An easily-missable (and somewhat confounding) puzzle at the rear of the station lets you tinker with some lab equipment; a questionable prospect at the best of times, doubly so in the Warhammer universe.
Using the lab equipment to process the correct reagents, found strewn about the station, yields some handy potions that will give you an edge in the coming quests. They might even be useful in getting off of Eurac V in one piece!

Where Is The Laboratory On Eurac V?
After you board the station and meed Felek Orsellio, you can reach the main area of the station byhaving a party member make an Athletics checkto lift the bookshelf blocking the stairs to the left. You’ll have to fight some Warp-afflicted Mutant Traitors on the other side, but once they’re dispatched you’ll have the run of the station.
After the battle, explore the areaand pick up any loot you find. There are items important for the puzzle hidden throughout. If you find yourself missing one,use the Map screento locate any items you haven’t picked up yet.
Luckily, most of the components you needare in boxes in the lab itself.
The lab is on theopposite side of the main hallfrom where you entered. Once you’re inside, take a right through the closed door to find the lab equipment for the puzzle. You need to go there anyway torebuild the station’s control rod.
How To Use The Lab Equipment
The four containers lined up along the right side of the room caneach hold an object. The Reagent Flask on the far rightonly accepts powdered components; to use it, you’ll first need toreduce a mineral to powderusing the Transducer on the opposite side of the room.
Once all four flasks are filled, you’ll be able topress the central button on the consoleto mix the components together. If you have the right combination, you’ll get six copies of a single consumable If not,the lab equipment will explode, rendering it useless. At that point, you’ll need toload a previous save fileif you want to try again.
The lab notes found throughout the station give hints as to which combinations work, but they can be a bit dense - some say which componentsnotto use, rather than simply stating the recipe.

The Adaptive Antidot is useful later in the game, when you find yourself facing enemies that dealtoxic damage.Injecting the Antidotreduces a character’s Toughness by tenuntil the end of combat, but also renders thementirely immune to toxic damage.
Flesh Sample
This purple potion is useful when facing off against enemy psykers or Warp-entities. The injected characterloses ten Fellowshipuntil the end of combat, but they also becomeimmune to Warp damageduring that time.
The Elixir of Warp Neutrality can help avoid friendly fire from your own psykers!
A character injected with the Elixircan’t deal Warp damage, so it’s best avoided by Idira unless you plan to use her for buffs and support rather than damage.
