From unlocking storage chests to hacking computer terminals, each hack has a puzzle for you to solve. These vary in difficulty and can be tricky to understand when starting out. How To Unlock SID

WhenTeylan gives you a tour of Resistance Headquartersduring Welcome To The Resistance,you’ll meet Alex. He’s the resident researcher and developer of technology. When introduced to him, you’llunlock SID: the Systems Interrogation Device.

This device was assembled from old RDA parts and can be used todisrupt technology used by the RDA. Whether you want tounlock storage containers for loot or hack into AMP suits, SID is a useful tool to have.

How To Complete The Frequency Puzzle

After unlocking SID, Alex sends you off tofind faulty wiringin Resistance Headquarters to practice. Equip SID andlook at the floor to see the wiresrunning beneath.Green wires are poweredand orange ones are not.Track the orange wiresto the maintenance panel to activate it.

Aim SID at the box andactivate the device. You’ll have to use the right triggers or the Q and E keys toget both circles to overlap. When you do, a puzzle should appear.

Find the Frequency puzzleshave a time limit, and harder puzzles have obstacles that will slow you down.

Find the arrowto find the start of the puzzle. Hacking is like walking through a maze, so take your time and don’t rush. Follow the path before you toreach the circle iconand successfully hack into any terminal or device.

There areseveral security levels that will complicate thingsfurther. Security level one is straightforward, while levels two and three introduce locked pathways you’ll need to open, areas that zap you back to the start, and shortcuts that move slowly, along with obstacles.
